Tech Tip for today...

Quickly re-open a closed tab -

If you just accidentally closed an important tab in your browser, you can easily re-open it by pressing command+shift+t on a Mac or control+shift+t on Windows PC. This can be used multiple times too, so keep pressing to open all the tabs you've closed recently. It even works after you've entirely closed and re-opened your browser too.

I haven't posted a tech tip for a while....here's a simple one that may help you be more productive. 😁

Delete an entire word Instead of deleting a single letter, pressing Ctrl + Backspace will delete the entire word behind the cursor. This makes deleting text quicker if you mess up a whole word.

Improving your WiFi signal at home doesn't necessarily require a new piece of hardware, try these simple tricks before buying anything!

- Try positioning your Router in an open space - giving the WiFi signal a better chance to reach a bit further.

- Try positioning your Desktop PC or Laptop away from a wall or a solid surface.

- Eliminate interference - signals from other wireless networks can impact speeds, not to mention some cordless phone systems, microwaves, and other electronic devices. Try switching these off individually to improve the signal.

- Most modern routers can switch across different channels, but some are set on a predefined channel. Selecting a different channel might boost your signal even more!
