This year, we took on the mantle of delivering site-wide connectivity for the festival.

After attending the launch event in 2011 with , it was great to return and see how .woodall has grown it to become such a vibrant, fun and energy-filled event.

It’s a seriously huge event now. By day, a sports event with rugby, netball and dodge ball matches being played across the site. By night, a music festival, with top DJs and sets keeping the party going into the small hours.

Our brief: to deliver site-wide public WiFi with a branded captive portal that got thousands of guests online in seconds, alongside secure, segmented connectivity keeping payments, ticketing and event operations running without interruption.

The best compliment was the silence we heard. It meant that everything ran as it should - it just worked, without awareness or consciousness.

The magical Hay Festival Hay-on-Wye, with all the latest technological advancements to enhance accessibility, engagement and safety.

⭐️Site-wide connectivity for production, media, streaming,
traders, ticket box office and guests
⭐️ Listen WiFi - allowing anyone across the site to listen live to any of the events, particularly useful for those hard of hearing
⭐️Captive portal for data capture when guests access the free WiFi network
⭐️ Security cameras deployed across the site
⭐️ 40+ laptops and 2 large printers for the admin team and artists

It’s a smooth operation run by Chris and Lewis to perfection. Comments from the client like “they’ve been brilliant, as always” are what we like to hear. Top boys, and always smiling.

Waitrose Garden Party 2026.

Our first year of supporting this event, we turned a beautiful Henley riverside location (with no internet, infrastructure or WiFi) into a fully online event.

Guest WiFi, media streaming, production and talent WiFi - they had it all. And it worked like a dream.

What an amazing event, we’re delighted with the results and to be asked to return next year!

Badminton Horse Trials 2026. One of Europe’s largest events with over 110,000 through the gates on Saturday alone.

Our 4th year of connectivity.

5 days. Over 600 traders. One media centre. Organiser’s office. Multiple scoring locations. Live broadcasting. Food, drinks & bars. Guest WiFi zones.

All connected, all running on a single faultless experience. With zero downtime.

Preparation is underway for Henley Regatta already.

This weekend we installed one of the internet connections that will keep the traffic flowing to the opposite site of the River Thames.

In June, over 300,000 people will descend on this iconic 5-day event, transforming a quiet riverside setting into a buzzing hub of bars, restaurants, shops, nightclubs, hospitality spaces and fairgrounds. It’s got it all.

Except internet.

But that’s where we come in.

At the start line area, where connectivity was once limited to patchy 4G (at best), this little dish will deliver a robust connection capable of keeping a portion of Henley Regatta online.

And this is just one part of a much bigger picture.

We’re building multiple connectivity solutions into the event to ensure resilience, stability, and seamless operation from start to finish.

We’re connecting multiple riverside zones, working with some of the best production companies on the scene, who are delivering innovative and exciting experiences for the guests.

We have one job: Connectivity and technology.

We’re the backbone for:
• Traders processing payments
• Production teams staying connected
• Event crews communicating in real time
• CCTV solutions
• Guest and VIP WiFi
• WiFi sponsorship and captive portals

No signal = no sales.

Our 7-strong team is firing on all cylinders at Badminton 💪
Site connectivity is rolling out zone by zone:

🟢 Green: tested & live
🟠 Amber: almost there
🔴 Red: still to install

We’ve had incredible weather so far (long may it last 🤞), and the Badminton crew + contractors have been an absolute dream to work with.

Mutual trust and respect make all the difference on event sites. We even squeezed in a cheeky beer night with friends and co-suppliers - a chance to catch up and put the world to rights 🍻

Now it’s early nights and back at it. It’s full-on, but staying sharp is key.

It’s what we do. It’s what we love. And working with great people makes it even better.

It’s all been done in the weeks leading up to the epic event that is

And now here we are, back on site, feeling privileged to be managing the WiFi for the 4th year running.

What’s changed?
- We’re now managing Badminton’s fibre network too. We’ve been testing it over the winter, and ensuring that its integrity remains secure. No broken fibres here!
- We’ve got onsite bunker bins for our team of 7 engineers to stay in. It makes life easier, and means that we’re always on site - readily available to make the customer experience better
- We’ve welcomes Ben to the team. He’s already been a massive help, making the trips with kit, vehicles and offices so much easier. His skills at driving tractors won’t get wasted here…
- We’ve brought along an air fryer 😆 Kid you not, the team need to eat and so why not? Oh and a toaster too. We know how to treat them 😊

We’re feeling well prepared, and it’s great to see everyone here. A few changes to the event this year are eagerly anticipated. It’s always good to have innovation, new suppliers and better tech on board. What a team!
