I got a second one!

Just built this system!

Ok well, I know it's been a while but better late than never.
Today I have some decent tech deals, and some tips for buying used GPUs for good prices.

Firstly, we have a good budget case from MSI, which I'm thinking of buying to replace my terrible case, comes with 3 fans, and has that sweet sweet RGB, for a modest £50 on Amazon, not bad.

We then move on to Sabrent SSD, these SSDs are known for being very fast and reliable so finding a 500GB for this price is good, it'll keep the loading times for games, apps and OS on this drive very short.

The reason for this post; the Ryzen 7 5700G, an 8 core 16 threaded CPU that will be slower than the 5800X/ 5800X3D, but at this price it is a better deal than the bang-for-the-buck beast that is the i5 12400k, losing in single threaded but winning back the same in multi threaded performance at a lower price. Overall a good deal.

The motherboard is a bit on the pricey side, but in turn it will provide the CPU with the power it needs with support for newest technologies and plenty of overclocking abilities, either on the CPU, or the iGPU.

Lastly, it's a used rRX6600. With the Crypto crash, everyone has been selling their GPUs at very low prices. I recommend you buy used, but be wary. Buy from sellers with hundreds of reviews and 95%+ positive feedback, this shows they are trust worthy. Make sure once you get the GPU to test it and make sure it works perfectly, otherwise contact the seller instantly and begin talks to either fix it, or to return the GPU and get a refund. Don't buy from sketchy sellers or too good to be true deals.

So this week, instead of budget or mid-end systems, I decided to just make a build in which money isn't much of a worry while also not spending over £2k. Soooo here it is, a pretty high-end system (which could be even higher-end) for less than £2000.

First of all is the Lian-Li Lancool II Case for good airflow and stylish design
We then have Intel's i7 12700kf with their new Big Core Little Core architecture to power through any games, recording, streaming or editing you throw at it.
The Lian-Li AIO cooler will make sure the i7 stay cool even in the most demanding situations allowing for overclocking as well.
Next is the Radeon RX6700XT GPU capable of playing most if not all games at 1440p High settings.
The motherboard is the MSI MAG Z690 TOMAHAWK WIFI DDR4 it'll allow the CPU to reach it's full potential as well as overclocking, it also gives all the features of the Z690 chipset. It keeps DDR4 since more RAM is more important than faster RAM.

Hey guys, today I wanted to take a look at the insides of my Dell Inspiron 7506 2 in 1 as it has been running very loud and certainly very hot. Since I have to use this a college I wanted to make it run better, have better battery life, and hopefully reduce the fan noise to avoid bothering other people. Here I show you how I opened it up and replaced the thermal paste.

Disclaimer: I did this while having experience opening laptops and computer things and your laptop may be different and opening it up might void your warranty, be careful.

Today I bring to you the 12th Gen Mid Range RGB system, the equivalent to my setup... Well plus the expensive RGB...and 'expensive' PC case... and fans...and a good PSU... I have a budget PC lol
Anyways, the setup today has an i5 12400f, really good 6 core 12 threaded CPU with a great budget B660M Pro Rs which comes with RGB on the side and ARGB sync. This combo allows for great gaming performance while also allowing for future upgrades.
The Vengeance RGB RAM is fast at 3200Mhz which can still be overclocked with the motherboard.
The 1TB Samsung SSD makes use of the PCIE 4 speeds and can keep your OS feeling smooth at all times and will load games in seconds.
The Hyper 212 RGB cooler will keep the CPU cool at all times while also keeping the build looking nice.
The RGB fans add extra aesthetics at a budget price while also keeping the system cool.
The MSI Mag Vampiric 100R case allows for plenty of space for all the components as well as space for cable management, some RGB at the front, and a side panel to witness the RGB goodness inside.
Finally, the RTX 2060, though last gen, is still capable of all games at max settings at a minimum of 60fps, and 120fps at slightly reduced settings. It comes with RT and Tensor cores that allows for RTX and usage of DLSS and DLSR technology for higher frame rates and more detail.

I got a PC upgrade!
After I got the RTX 2060, I found out that my CPU did not really like playing anything above 60fps, and therefore, needed an upgrade. I got the 12th gen i5-12400f with the Asrock B660M PRO RS mATX motherboard which makes for a very good combo. The new LGA 1700 socket means I can no longer use my other CPU cooler until I get the mounting kit, however the new stock cooler does a fine job, although a bit loud. In general the new i5 is about 100% faster and in Cinebench, the multicore performance of the 12400f is 11600 points while the i5 9400f was only a mere 5500 points. What an upgrade! BTW my next upgrade is gonna be a new case so keep an eye out for that!

I helped a friend () build his first PC. With help, I mean I pointed him towards a PC capable of playing games at more than 30fps as he was looking at a video with a Ryzen APU. Yeah, no. I went on part picker and chose a better system for the same price. We then tweaked some things, and ended up with this RGB beauty.
With an i5-12400f, an MSI B660M-A DDR4 and GTX 1650, 16GB Corsair Vengeance RGB PRO 3200hz, this system will do two things, look good, and plays games fairly well.
The CPU being the most powerful component throws everything it has into games and overwhelms the GPU.
The motherboard allows for many upgrades including more 12th Gen Intel CPUs.
The GPU allows playing games at decent settings with decent frames.
The RAM allows for fluid gameplay
And the PSU allows for future upgradability.
My friend built this system all by himself as his first PC build showing anyone can get the parts and make it themselves with a few videos. The only thing he struggles with was downloading Windows 10 😅😂
