In terms of IT services and support, we do things a little different here in not only providing general IT support plans (3 month or 12 month) but also doing preemptive support work at night and weekends when your systems will not be in use. A short brief list of what we can provide is as follows:
• IT support plans to cover your business (Phone support, Remote support, Pre-Emptive Support, On-Site Visits)
• Diagnose and repair computers. laptops, servers, and networks.
• Optimize your existing IT equipment.
• Provide and install computers, laptops, servers, printers, and networks.
• Your data is extremely important, we can make sure it is backed up properly onsite and offsite.
• We recommend, provide, install and support AVG and Avast security products.
• We can liaise between your business and 3rd party IT hardware/software solutions, we bridge that gap.

MossTech Industries has been growing since we formed several years ago (I personally have been in the IT Support industry for over 28 years).

We also partner up with an IT Services company in Medway, Kent.

All our IT support plans are customised for every business, as each business is unique. Some of our clients have plans that incorporate nighttime and weekend support, flexibility is key to what we do.

Payment on our 12-month plans can be done monthly or all in one go.

We support, supply, build & repair, servers, laptops, PC’s, networks, IP security cameras and so much more…we can support, source and supply the IT equipment you need.

We support clients in a vast range of industries, we are based in Kent but cover clients in Kent and beyond.

IT'S GETTING HOT
Computers run best when cold.
We are now in summer, it's going to get hot, hot, hot !
When computers get too hot, thermal issues can occur which can make for problems now and in the future, and be very costly !

LAPTOPS
Laptops have thermal vents and extractor fans typically connected via copper pipe work, what dirt you may see on the outside is just a small fraction of the dust and dirt that collect inside the machine, stopping it from staying cool and stressing the components out.
If you do gaming or 3D rendering on the laptop, then the heat generated is a massive....and that's before you take into account the ambient air temp in the room.

DESKTOPS / TOWERS / SERVERS
Similar to laptops, they have extractor fans, cooling fans and heat sinks. They are designed to have air come into the machine one way and exit the opposite way, so having the machine stuck in a cupboard or enclosed space is a really bad idea.
This means they suck in dust, fluff and hair which reduces the air flow, clogs the heat sinks up and sits on the fan blades causing the bearings to be come noisy and slower and hotter.
