We have some sad news. Petra died very suddenly last week. We are all still a bit in shock and devastated at such a huge loss.

Everyone loved Petra. Glen has had to break the news to 10 different people everyday, all heartbroken from the news. We have not been the only ones in tears this week.

Petra loved her walks on the beach and getting her treats from all her adoring fans in Cromer. She absolutely loved being part of the team at Anglian Internet and knew the phrase “do you wanna go to work ?” and would get so excited to go and see everyone in the office.

She has left a huge hole and adjusting to life without her has been difficult. She had a wonderful almost 10 years and we have so many memories to look back on. Give your pets an extra treat for Petra today 💙

Over the weekend 3 of our team from Anglian Internet joined other Norfolk locals braving a walk across hot coals at the Nelson’s Journey Firewalk outside the Forum in Norwich.

What is a firewalk? Walking barefoot over red-hot embers, often exceeding temperatures of 1000 degrees Fahrenheit. The team were incredible and really made the whole experience about more than just walking across burning hot embers. The briefing is a motivational speech in itself!

Nelson’s Journey supports children and young people in Norfolk who’ve experienced the death of a significant person. Their mission is to increase self-esteem, self-belief and well-being of bereaved children in Norfolk by enabling families and society to talk opening about death and bereavement, and for children to express and understand emotions. We hope to take part in more charitable events as part of our team building at Anglian Internet. Sky diving anyone?

Another week at Anglian Internet, here’s some of what we got up to. The team work both in office dealing with support and out on site. This week we were out in North Walsham for a site survey where the coffee stop was Coffeesmiths North Walsham We were out in rural North Norfolk installing TP Link mesh access points, the question of the week on the whiteboard had us wondering who on the team is not shutting down their home pc/laptop overnight, we had an emergency call out in Aylsham, installed a new office set up, started plans for Petra’s birthday bash, and did a site survey for digital displays, WiFi, and a mesh network.

Question of the week on white board this week. A controversial question for an IT company… be honest, who is shutting down their home PC/laptop overnight?

Here’s a look at some of last week’s highlights. Treacle came in for a very important meeting, Petra went out for coffee (standard), we did some rearranging of the shop, had some sheep spectators watching us install Starlink, and we were busy in the workshop building 15 custom PCs for a customer.
