Panasonic DVD recorder. This was a bit of a difficult repair, sound processor IC had failed, it’s a 120 pin device the size of a 5 pence, micro hot air soldering, plus it had a spot of manufacturing glue from assembly.
A challenging repair, but it’s impossible to find a DVD / VCR/ hard drive freeview Recoder nowadays.

Neff sub speaker. Power supply rebuild after it went pop.
Fabulous speaker, but a common problem is the power supplies get cooked lack of ventilation, causing the capacitors to fail due to heat damage, then the electronics goes pop.
Rebuilt power supply and update the capacitors from 85c to 105c degrees.

Had a lot of tape decks in for repairs over the last few months.
This Sony was in for a full set of belts and a service. Full decks removed for service, time consuming, but necessary.
I had to break out my stock pile of drive belts which is getting harder to source now.

Unfortunately had a few screens failure this week, which wasn’t resolved. Screen damage cannot be repaired, but for 1 customer I was able to give them an old Sony TV which I had laying around to keep them going till they had funds to replace it.
That said I still repaired TV’s not everything has to be thrown away.

Posting this as people have been looking for my contact details.

Bit of old style technology. VHS video recorder. Had to set up a video to a DVD recorder, Needed to copy some VHS tapes to DVD’s for a customer.
Feeling old, I can remember when videos first came out. At collage learning to repairs them, they seemed very complicated top loaders and big piano keys. By how things have changed.

This was my first Bosch Ebike battery repair.
A very complicated battery management system repair. Customer was very happy as these batteries are in excess of £500.
Fortunately I’m very up on Ebikes and batteries as I’ve been building them since 2009.
