Not often I need to open machines these days, but this client wanted to double their RAM to increase performance, fairly inexpensive way to get your older laptop bit of life. I noticed this one has a 1tb hard disk drive and my advice is swapping it for a smaller solid state drive which has much better performance and less likely to 'break'. Beware "crap Friday" deals! Because it's brand new doesn't mean it's better!
Often have folk tell me about these great prices for new laptops, especially this time of year.

Typically I'd advise minimum Intel i5 processor, and also advise stay away from Celeron which in my opinion must be just made up from left over bits!

Seek advice if you're unsure, and consider a higher spec refurb/2nd hand laptop or computer.
