Well I made it. Photos stop around the half way point when the rain had set in and my phone was in my bag to keep dry. There were several steep downs and ups which make the steps close to the end of my last walk seem gentle. The final pit stop was around 17½ miles, not close enough to the end to my mind! The last bit had lots of very muddy patches and large muddy puddles. Changing into something dry was a challenge in the dark, in the middle of a field, in the rain. Thankfully my boots kept my feet surprisingly dry, so my top half and feet were warmed and dry for the 65 mile drive home. The less said about the rest of me the better.

Early start tomorrow, as in up at 4am, to travel to the start line. Still time to sponsor me 🙂 26 miles round the Jurassic Coast for Macmillan. Hopefully not too slippy under foot after the rain.
