This Galaxy Watch stopped working suddenly and the manufacturer said it needed a new screen, new battery, new motherboard and new bottom case. In effect they said it was beyond repair.
Upon inspection there were a few components on the main board that were corroded due to liquid damage (not so waterproof either then 🙄)
Replaced the components and were up and running.
Repairs to liquid damage devices cannot be guaranteed due to the very nature of how metal corrodes over time. It is understandable why the manufacturers won’t make these repairs. However I suspect this watch will be going well for a long while unless it takes any further dips in the sea.

🖥 This large monitor’s USB Thunderbolt port was faulty, not displaying an image. 🖥
Collected from the customer an hour after the initial call, back on his desk, working 2 hours later…..even had a spot of lunch in between 😀
