A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of hosting the Centum Engineering Summit at Ballyscullion Park, a fantastic three-day event focused on people, development and the future of the business.

It was great to see Centum investing in its people, bringing individuals together to share knowledge, learn from inspiring speakers and look ahead to the opportunities for future growth.

A company’s greatest asset is its people, and investing in their development, leadership and shared vision is an important part of building for the future.

A huge well done to Michael, John and all the speakers for delivering such an engaging and valuable programme, and thank you to the Centum team for the opportunity to be involved.

It was a pleasure to host an event that celebrated the people behind the business and the ambition driving Centum forward.

It was great to play a small part in the launch of this exciting Lough Neagh Project, providing the graphic design and print for the event banners for Michael at Holy Trinity College, Cookstown.

The programme will give students the opportunity to learn more about the environmental challenges currently affecting Lough Neagh, combining classroom learning with practical workshops, sustainability education and hands-on experiences.

It’s a fantastic initiative for the local area, giving young people a greater understanding of one of our most important natural resources and encouraging the next generation to play a role in protecting its future.

Good luck to Michael, the students and everyone involved in the project. I’m looking forward to seeing how it develops!

Last week I had the opportunity to support the delivery of the 5th Annual Centum Engineering Golf Day at the stunning Carton House, Kildare.

While the event was expertly led by John Beattie, I was brought in to assist with event operations, guest experience and hosting throughout the day, helping ensure everything ran smoothly from registration through to the evening awards.

With over 200 guests, multiple hospitality touchpoints, on-course activations, branding, social media content, all day food and beverage delivery, transport logistics and an evening programme to coordinate, it was a strong example of how much precision and planning sits behind a seamless guest experience.

A special mention to Dearbhail, Liam and Mark at Carton House for their support on the day and for helping keep everything running efficiently behind the scenes.

One of my favourite parts of the day was seeing the atmosphere created through great hospitality, strong client relationships and meaningful conversations, all while supporting an important charitable cause Rehab.ie.

Centum know how to host a party for their clients! Even Lewis Capaldi showed up 😄

Events like these are a reminder that successful event management is not just about logistics, it’s about creating experiences people remember long after the day is over. A thoroughly enjoyable day was had by all! 🏌️‍♀️🍺🍔
