The Bossman has been out and about today at the Welsh Business Show at the Swansea.com stadium.

🚨 Client Emergency Call! 🚨
Yesterday, we visited a client who was in need of our help after a lightning strike over the weekend. 🌩️ Their PC was completely fried and wouldn't power on. Given the age and damage, we agreed with the client the PC was beyond repair. Luckily, they had a spare PC ready to go! 💻
The client was desperate to recover their Sage data from the failed PC. We worked our magic and successfully recovered all their Sage data and their documents at the same time, transferring everything to a USB. 🎉
And of course, the classic "while you're here" moment happened! Another PC wasn't turning on, but we quickly identified a faulty memory stick. After a quick clean-up, this machine is now ready to be used as a backup. 🛠️
Happy client, successful recovery, and I got to test out my new dust blaster! 😄

How was your bank holiday weekend?

The summer season is drawing to a close and the kids will soon be back at school. Then, maybe, just maybe we there will be some form of "normal" in our lives before Christmas (am I allowed to say that yet?).

Providers missed your call?

Paying for a managed service means someone should be at the end of the phone and ready to assist. We had a call today from a user that couldn't get hold of their "usual guy".

With the beautiful weather we are expecting over the next couple of days, remember to keep your tech devices out of the sun and avoid the risk of them overheating. Overheating seriously reduces the lifespan of your devices and batteries.
