This is the climax of one of the most exciting World Cups in recent history. There has been lots of goals and some incredible score lines. Even some of the goalless games were open and very exciting to watch. Germany looked strong throughout the competition and their performance in the semi-final against Brazil was just awesome. They will go into the final as favourites. Argentina looked better during the group matches than they did in the knockout stages but this is the World Cup final so previous performances will not count. We believe Argentina are strong enough to beat Germany especially if Messi is on song and we are going to stick with our pre-tournament favourites Argentina and go for a 1-0 win to Argentina. This is the last of the opening game of group matches and what a fantastic World Cup this has been so far. Apart from a couple of goalless games, there has been plenty of goals.

We think the Russians will be too strong for the South Koreans and come away as winners with a 2 - 1 win.

We had our first correct prediction yesterday. Let's hope it will start a run. According to our call rates, this match will end 3 - 1 to Algeria but we fancy Belgium to win with the same scoreline. So, 3 -1 to Belgium.

Oops! Got the Iran v Nigeria prediction totally wrong.

Based on our call rates, this one will have another fantasy scoreline, 15 - 1 to Ghana. Can't see that happening as we feel USA has an slight edge over Ghana. We are going to go for 2-1 to USA.

There have been lots of goals in this World Cup so far and based on our call rates, this game will be a 7 goal spectacle. With our predictions to date being so poor, we are tempted to stick with Iran 3 - Nigeria 4 but we can't see Iran getting 3 goals though so, we'll go for Iran 1 - Nigeria 4.

France had a dreadful World Cup in 2010. If the prediction based on our call rates comes true, they will start this World Cup really badly with a 7 - 1 defeat to Honduras. Fortunately, this is unlikely to happened and we predict France to edge Honduras with 2 - 1 win.

Based on our call rates, Ivory Coast will beat Japan 20-1. Even though this has been a free scoring World Cup so far, there is no way Ivory Coast will score 20 goals against Japan. We are expecting a very close game with Japan ambushing Ivory Coast to win 2 - 1.

The Uruguay v Costa Rica result has opened this group completely and has greatly improved England's chance of getting through to the knock out stages. This will be a close game and neither team will want to lose. We are going for a 1 - 1 draw.
