Peavey 6505+ in for dead. Customer changed tubes himself. But the amp has an issue . 1 filter cap bad 100uf 550v had made the HT change and bias was approaching 80% PD. Power tubes have been stressed but still have life. Removed the caps awaiting delivery

Selmer treble n bass mklll. Replaced 2 filter caps as last tech only replaced 1 🤐🤔. Replaced 3 cathode bypass caps . Checked the bias and power tubes were cooked as last tech didn't sort that out . Replaced power tubes , still extremely high. Changed 2 resistors and fitted a 4.7k pot. Instead of 60ma + per tube . Now 35ma per tube. Pre amps tested ok . Ecc82 fitted where ecc83 should be , but that's on the normal channel. Cleaned pots , moved the earth mount point , all good soak tested and stress tested

Jubilee made by cemi of Brighton. This has been mucked about many times with 2 new transformers fitted by a 3 yr old with his plastic screwdriver set. Got a few issues, bad mains plug, a pile of loose screws and washers inside . Bad current sense resistor . Removed boost circuit, bad pots , mix match pile of filter caps , from the box of used caps , apparently an electric shock from it . So I'm going to fit some decoupling caps on the input . Output transformer has one output, highly likely the other output has been cut short 🤔🤐
