⚽ England v Ghana ⚽
England are back in action tonight as they take on Ghana in their second Group L fixture.
A 4-2 victory over Croatia got the campaign off to the perfect start, but World Cup football has a habit of keeping teams grounded very quickly. Ghana will arrive full of confidence themselves after opening with a win over Panama, meaning both sides know that another three points would put them in a very strong position heading into the final group match.
The consensus in the shop remains unchanged. England all the way.
Max, meanwhile, is still dining out on Scotland's opening win and assuring anyone who'll listen that this is finally their year. We've heard it all before. Just the small matter of Brazil to beat.
As for tonight, England have goals in the side and looked dangerous going forward against Croatia. Ghana will provide a different challenge altogether, but it's another game that promises to be worth watching.
We'll be keeping an eye on proceedings from the shop and, no doubt, solving all of England's tactical problems by tomorrow morning.
