The EYFS Frameworks states that ‘Developing a strong grounding in number is essential so that all children develop the necessary building blocks to excel mathematically’.

Apps can be a fun tool to provide children with an introduction to the basics of early mathematics.

The Google Play Store has wide variety of Maths Apps to choose from, these can be downloaded onto the Tilt & Touch and Axis Table’s, helping to supporting children’s early years education.

‘Breathe, Think, Do with Sesame’ is a research-based app which aims to teach children the “Breath, Think, Do” strategy for problem solving by helping their monster friend calm down and solve everyday challenges

- Tap and touch to help their monster friend take deep breaths
- Think of plans
- Then try them out

The App is part of the Little Children, Big Challenges initiative aiming to provide tools to help children build skill for resilience and overcome everyday challenges and more stressful situations and transitions.

It is free to download onto your Interactive Table via the Google Play Store.
