Transformer: The complete works - Part 1 🤖

Another 1986 annual featuring amazing artwork by Marvel comics which is basically the first 2 issues at a total of around 50+ pages. (Well, 2 issues of the US comic, 4 issues of the UK one).

I love the artwork on the cover by Jerry Paris and can’t quite bring myself to sell this one yet 😅🙈

I used to have this one as a kid and re-read it MANY times! I still haven’t gotten around to sorting through and sharing my M.A.S.K. collection. It was a toy line and cartoon that I absolutely loved!

I love the artwork in these 🤩

Been getting in a lot of comics and graphic novels lately to sort through. These are mostly from the 90s era.

Got LOADS more to sort through (a crazy amount of Batman!), plus more 2000ad, Aliens, various Marvel, DC, Terminator, Transformers, some vintage, etc.

While England are playing in the Euros this evening I got reflecting about this old game…

I used to play it a lot with my cousin and later my Dad when I had a copy of my own (on the Mega Games 1 collection).

The graphics are a bit naff, but the corners, goal kicks, goals etc had some more visually “impressive” moments.

Who remembers the Super Mario Bros movie from 1993? 👀🍄

I remember enjoying this movie when I was a kid. Sure, it didn’t meet expectations or follow the games too closely, but I think they would have struggled to do a decent live-action version with the limitations at the time.

I do miss films with proper sets, practical effects and puppets. The worlds felt a bit more real and “lived in” when done properly.

This movie gets a lot of hate, but hopefully some of you still enjoyed it? 😅 It is a bit naff, but in a 90s nostalgic good way I think 😂
