I had a photo shoot with Lizzie a few years ago and can highly recommend her. In fact ... I should be thinking about renewing my photos. Is it time to book her again?

Our member spotlight for October is one of our newer members, Lizzie Melvin from Elizabeth Melvin Photography.

Lizzie helps businesses to grow through imagery that reflects both them and the clients they wish to attract. Always in a natural story telling style with a twist of art!

As someone who feels awkward every time a camera is pointed in my direction (a lot of us feel like that, don’t we?), I can wholeheartedly recommend Lizzie for photography. I had a photoshoot with her a few years ago and she went out of her way to make me feel comfortable and you know what, it was actually fun!

Okay, we admit it ... we got a bit sidetracked at September’s meetup, so for October we’re going to have another go at discussion Seasonal Business.

Depending on your business that could mean different things. If you’re a tourism-focused business you could well find that you go from being run off your feet at peak times but less busy at other times of the year. Or if you’re running a service-based business it could take the form of feast or famine. How does this affect your business and how do you handle it? We’re looking forward to a lively discussion!

Happy September everybody. It's time to share a new spotlight.

Now, August has been such a busy month for everyone that our members haven't had a chance to send their details over for a spotlight. So ... this month it's going to be me 🫣

As well as being the founder of the Far West Business Network, I run Webfooted Designs, which is a web design business. My company builds websites for small businesses and non-profits, with a focus on providing services for other local businesses.
