💜 It’s National Dyslexia Week 💜

This week is an opportunity to raise awareness, challenge misconceptions and celebrate the different ways people think, learn and solve problems.

Dyslexia isn't a reflection of intelligence or ability. It's a different way of processing information — and with the right support, people with dyslexia can thrive.

At Kew Consulting, we believe technology should be designed around people. That means creating products and experiences that are accessible, inclusive and built with different needs in mind.

Because better design starts with understanding people.

Every sports organisation is unique.

From managing participants and clubs to coordinating coaches, sessions, communications and reporting, there are countless moving parts behind the scenes. When these processes rely on spreadsheets or disconnected systems, administration can quickly become time-consuming and information difficult to access.

That's where bespoke software can make a real difference.

By bringing critical processes together into one tailored solution, organisations can:
🏅 Reduce administration
📊 Improve visibility across operations
💡 Make better-informed decisions
🤝 Create a better experience for staff, volunteers and participants

At KEW Consulting, we've seen the impact of this first-hand through our work with Disability Sport Wales, helping to develop digital systems that support the unique needs of a specialist sporting environment.

Technology should work around the way your organisation operates—not the other way around.

Because when systems work better, sports organisations can spend more time focusing on what really matters: increasing participation, supporting performance, and delivering lasting impact.

🎙️ Why are voice recordings so valuable?

The idea behind Voicicle came from a simple but frustrating experience.

During a face-to-face meeting, several verbal agreements were made. At the time, everyone seemed to be on the same page. But weeks later, those agreements were disputed. Without any reliable record of what had actually been said, it became difficult to demonstrate what had been agreed.

It highlighted something many of us experience: conversations are important, but memories can differ.

Voice recordings help preserve context, tone, and the exact words that were spoken. They can provide clarity, reduce misunderstandings, and create a trusted record of important discussions—whether they're business meetings, project updates, interviews, or personal conversations.

That experience inspired us to build Voicicle: a simple way to capture conversations when they matter most, so important moments don't have to rely on memory alone.

Have you ever had a conversation where everyone remembered it differently?

🌍 National Inclusion Week is a reminder that inclusion is something we create through our everyday actions.

When people feel valued, respected, and able to be themselves, they are more likely to share ideas, collaborate, and contribute their best. Inclusive environments don't happen by chance—they grow through listening, empathy, and making space for different perspectives.

This National Inclusion Week, let's celebrate the strengths that diversity brings and continue building communities and workplaces where everyone has the opportunity to belong and thrive.

What does inclusion mean to you?

📋 Meetings are full of useful information—but the follow-up is often where things fall apart.

Key decisions get forgotten. Action points become unclear. Details are missed. Before long, everyone remembers the conversation a little differently.

Voicicle helps you capture what matters, so you can revisit important discussions, confirm decisions, and keep everyone aligned. Instead of relying on memory or rushed notes, you have a clear record to support better communication and accountability.

Great meetings deserve great follow-up.

How does your team keep track of important conversations?
