Just had an email with an entirely unsolicited testimonial via BNI about UW customer service which I thought it might be helpful to share: -
"We were notified that our electricity rates were due to rise in December 2012 and were due a rate increase from our satellite television provider who we also received our broadband and home telephone service from.
Our home broad has been supplied from various companies over the years but the connection speed has always been poor but informed that it was the best speed we could achieve in our road. Simon said we would have a good speed as his company sources the best available packages.
We booked an appointment with Simon and he visited our house at a time that was good for us and ran through all the products he has to offer. It was very simple to understand what was available to us and we switched to the utility warehouse for our gas, electricity, telephone and broadband.
We had concerns about transferring our gas and electricity as you hear stories about problems with companies when you transfer to a new supplier but it went really well with no problems.
Our broadband speed was similar to what we were getting before so I rang the customer service helpline who were really helpful and they sent out a replacement router in case the first was faulty at no cost. When this was fitted they rang to check the results and when I said it was similar they said they would arrange an engineer to visit.
The engineer came and carried out a full investigation from the telegraph pole into our house and found a fault on the wiring. He fixed this fault and we now have the fastest broadband we have ever had and two happy teenagers!
So if you have any reservations about a complicated switchover don't , take the plunge and start saving money with excellent customer service.
They even rang again to check if we were still happy.

Maggie Halton Thanks for posting this Simon. We all know UW broadband is the best - Which? reports prove it too, but it's nice when our customers take time to write to say so!
