Don't worry we are open to 9pm tonight and the weather seems to be getting better.

It's a bit dreich at the moment, but the forecast looks good for this evening.

The Paisley Halloween Festival is on tonight, Friday 23 October, from 4pm to 9pm in Paisley town centre. It’s free to attend, and the big highlight is the spectacular Halloween parade at 7pm.

A simple plan for tonight
• 4–6pm: Arrive early to enjoy street performers, food stalls and the illuminated displays as it gets darker.
• 6–6:45pm: Catch the live entertainment around County Square and Gauze Street.
• By 6:30pm: Find a good spot along the parade route before the crowds build.
• 7–8pm: Watch the main parade.
• Afterwards: Head to the funfair or grab some food.

Practical information
• Cost: Free entry. Grandstand tickets are sold out.
• Getting here: Paisley Gilmour Street station is a short walk from the festival.
• Traffic: Expect town-centre road closures from the afternoon, with further closures during the parade. Public transport is a good option as the town is usually heaving.

Are you heading to Paisley for the Halloween festival?

Be sure to swing past the shop to grab a locally made toy (as opposed to the imported, light up, untested, cheaply made but overpriced crap sold by most but not all street vendors. Last year MOST didn't even have the appropriate street trader licenses).

We are open Thursday till 7pm and Friday/Saturday till 9pm.
