🎓 Back to Oxford.

After an incredible journey through our international modules, it feels special to be back in Oxford.

From exploring different markets and business ecosystems to learning from local leaders, entrepreneurs, and communities, the past few modules have challenged many of the assumptions I had about leadership, innovation, and global business.

Each destination brought a different perspective.

🌍 Different cultures.
💡 Different approaches to innovation.
🤝 Different ways of creating impact.
📚 And, most importantly, different ways of seeing the world.

But perhaps the most valuable part of the journey has been the people — my Oxford EMBA classmates, professors, speakers, and the many individuals we met along the way.

Now, returning to Oxford feels like coming back with a broader lens.

The international experience doesn't stay abroad. It comes back with us — into our classrooms, our companies, our leadership decisions, and the ideas we choose to pursue.

Grateful for the journey so far. And excited for what the next chapter at Oxford will bring. 💙

🌍 Cape Town. Inclusive Innovation in Africa. A perspective I’ll carry with me.

Some learning experiences stay with you long after the classroom ends.

Our Saïd Business School, University of Oxford EMBA module on Inclusive Innovation in Africa in Cape Town was one of those experiences.

Being in South Africa gave us the opportunity to explore innovation not simply as a question of technology or business models, but as a question of access, inclusion, context, and impact.

One of my biggest takeaways was that innovation does not always mean creating something completely new.

Sometimes, it means:
→ making existing solutions accessible to more people
→ designing around real local needs rather than assumed ones
→ building sustainable business models around social impact
→ bringing different perspectives together
→ and understanding that solutions developed with communities can be far more powerful than solutions developed for them.

Cape Town also reminded me how much context matters.

The challenges, opportunities and entrepreneurial ecosystems across Africa are incredibly diverse. There is no single “African market” and no universal formula for innovation.

Technology can create possibilities.
Business models can create scale.
But meaningful innovation happens when we understand people, context and the barriers they face.

And perhaps that is one of the most important lessons of an international EMBA:

Step outside your own environment to expand the way you see the world.

There are moments in life when you realize that success is not just about promotions, titles, or achievements.

It's about becoming someone your younger self would be proud of.

When I left Armenia years ago, I had no roadmap. No guarantees. Just a belief that if I worked hard enough, kept learning, and stayed true to my values, I could build a life with purpose.

It wasn't always easy.

There were moments of self-doubt, failures that no one saw, difficult decisions, loneliness, and times when I questioned whether I was good enough. Like many people building an international career, I often had to prove myself over and over again.

Today, after more than 15 years in technology leadership, studying at Oxford while working full-time, and building ideas that I hope will improve people's lives, I've realized something important:

Growth isn't about becoming fearless.

It's about continuing even when you're scared.

Behind every milestone on LinkedIn is a story that usually stays untold—late nights, sacrifices, missed family moments, uncertainty, and countless times you choose not to give up.

I'm still learning. Still dreaming. Still building.

Not because I want another title, but because I want my work to matter. I want to create technology that helps people, empower more women to believe in themselves, build a family I'm proud of, and one day look back knowing I had the courage to pursue a life bigger than my fears.

If you're in a season where progress feels slow, keep going.

One day, you'll realize that the person you became was the greatest achievement of all.

My journey to Saïd Business School, University of Oxford has not just been about academic achievement—it has been a journey of personal growth and a profound shift in mindset.

Stepping into this path required me to think bigger, to challenge my own limitations, and to embrace uncertainty with confidence. It taught me that growth begins where comfort ends, and that the way we see ourselves often defines how far we can go.

But this mindset didn’t come from nowhere.

I was raised by a woman who has always been my greatest role model—my mother. During the USSR era, her work was recognized to the extent that her article was published in a British “Who is Who” journal as a female scientist. At a time when opportunities were far more limited, she pursued knowledge with courage and determination. She showed me, through her own life, what it means to break barriers quietly but powerfully.

Her example shaped the way I approach challenges today—with resilience, discipline, and belief.

And alongside that inspiration, I’ve been incredibly fortunate to have the constant support of my family and friends. Their encouragement has grounded me, especially in moments of doubt, reminding me that no achievement is ever truly individual.

This journey is as much theirs as it is mine.

As I continue forward, I carry with me not just ambition, but a legacy of strength, and a commitment to grow into the person I once needed as inspiration.

Inside the Ashmolean Museum, Oxford, surrounded by objects that have witnessed centuries of human ambition, creativity, and change, our conversations took on a different depth. Strategy, leadership, and innovation somehow felt more grounded—reminded that everything we build today becomes part of a much longer story.
What stood out most wasn’t just the setting, but the people. A room full of diverse perspectives, challenging ideas, and genuine curiosity.
Moments like this redefine what an Executive MBA is about. It’s not only about knowledge, but about context, reflection, and the relationships that shape how we lead.

💢The challenge that once felt impossible but now feels routine.
💢The quiet confidence that grows each time you keep going.

Progress rarely shouts. Most of the time, it happens quietly in the background while you’re simply showing up and doing the work.

Leadership is not a title — it’s a learning journey!

Over the years, I’ve learned that building a personal brand isn’t about being perfect or having all the answers.
It’s about being intentional, reflective, and willing to grow in public.

My biggest leadership lessons didn’t come from promotions or job titles, but from:

💢 Navigating ambiguity without full context
💢 Receiving feedback that challenged my comfort zone
💢 Learning when to listen, when to push, and when to step back
💢 Admitting “I don’t know” — and committing to learn fast

What I’ve come to believe:

💢 Strong leaders are constant learners
💢 Personal brand is built through consistency, values, and actions, not buzzwords
💢 Growth accelerates when you share the journey, not just the outcomes

I’m still learning. Still refining. Still evolving.
And that, to me, is what real leadership looks like!✨️

In a world obsessed with speed, I’ve been thinking a lot about the value of stillness. 💫

We talk about productivity, efficiency, acceleration — as if moving faster is always the answer. But the most meaningful shifts in life and work rarely happen in motion. They happen in reflection.

💢 It’s in the quiet moments that we gain clarity.
💢 It’s in the pauses that we recognize what truly matters.
💢 And it’s in the spaces between our achievements where we reconnect with who we are becoming.

I’m learning that progress is not measured only by output, titles, or milestones. It’s also measured by the depth of our awareness, the quality of our decisions, and the courage to pause long enough to choose the right direction — not just the fastest one.

So here’s my reminder for anyone navigating ambition, leadership, or change:

✨ Slow is not the opposite of growth.
Slow is the foundation of intentional growth.

Your future self is formed not only in the tasks you complete, but in the moments you allow yourself to think, breathe, and realign.

If you’re in a season of reflection — embrace it. Sometimes the most powerful step forward begins with a pause.
