Adobe has just announced that its flagship video editing software, Premiere, is available for free on Android for the first time from today with no ads or watermarks.

The app includes a multi-track timeline, creator-made templates, effects and transitions, audio editing and more. All these tools are free to use, with no login required to import, edit or export videos.

Note: You don’t need an Adobe account or subscription, unless you want to use Adobe’s Firefly AI editing features or cloud storage.

DDR5 RAM and Storage (SSD) prices have shot up nearly 5 times in the past 12 months 😫 we are told it's due to the demand of AI companies. Some manufacturers have now pulled out of the consumer market completely. The effect on Laptop and PC prices is getting ridiculous. I now see large online retailers selling devices with only 4GB of RAM 😮 where does it stop!!

New laptops no longer coming with a charger - from the EU
"The European Union requires all new laptops sold in the EU to include a USB-C charging port and be offered for sale without a bundled power brick as of April 28, 2026" (Excellent idea IMO)
Yet I have seen new Dell and HP laptops with no charger and do not have a USB C charging port 🧐🫣 I then have to buy and charge a customer for a laptop charger.
In fact most consumer laptops are not USB powered 🤨🙄
