ℹ️ A customer contacted us after experiencing major issues with their network. They were suffering from constant disconnections, with computers, phones, CCTV and other devices repeatedly going offline. This was causing significant disruption to their day-to-day business operations. Several IT providers, including their existing IT company, declined to take on the work due to the complexity involved. This was certainly a challenge, but it’s exactly the kind of job we specialise in.
Upon initial inspection, we discovered an extremely poorly maintained data cabinet. It had long since been outgrown, with networking hardware loosely installed and even placed on top of the cabinet. As shown in the photos, years of neglect from previous installers had resulted in minimal labelling, poor organisation and a complete lack of installation standards, making fault-finding and maintenance very difficult.
✔️ After documenting and logging the cabinet and hundreds of connections, it was stripped down and old equipment removed. Time was spent carefully tracing and identifying cables from the tangled mess. Each cable was individually tested to check the integrity of each one by one, ensuring nothing was missed. Where possible cables were rerouted in an improved manner, resulting in less clutter and better organisation. Any cables not required or unnecessary were removed. Any cables found to be faulty or miswired, were re-terminated or repaired.
✔️ A new, smaller data cabinet was installed to house all CCTV hardware, including the storage server, UPS and amplifier, along with other equipment. Cables were extended where needed, freeing up space in the main cabinet and allowing us to carry out a full restructure efficiently.
✔️ New switches replaced the aging ones, and all equipment was reorganised for an optimal layout, with patch panels correctly spaced. Cable management was upgraded, looms redone, and shelves installed to neatly house non-rackable equipment. New power distribution units removed the unsafe daisy-chained extensions in the main cabinet. Once complete, all connections were patched with new, harmonised cables, routed neatly, and every connected system was fully tested to ensure proper operation.

ℹ️ An international shipping company based in the US needed a fully equipped remote office set up here in the UK. They chose us to deliver the networking and security infrastructure, including upgraded data cabling, new CCTV and a robust wireless network.
✔️ Data Cabling & Wireless: The office previously had Category 6 cabling and data points, but no dedicated data cabinet and only simple RJ45 terminations. We installed a new lockable data cabinet complete with patch panel, PDU, cable management, and all necessary patch cabling. All equipment supplied by the head office was professionally rack-mounted in the cabinet, including the CCTV recorder we installed to secure the offices. Wireless access points were installed and configured in collaboration with the head office to provide complete, high-performance Wi-Fi 7 coverage throughout the office.

ℹ️ A start-up business trusted us to fully equip their new premises with a complete suite of IT solutions and services. We provided data cabling, a new server and computers, cloud services, VOIP telephony, and network infrastructure to get them running from the ground up. They also opted for our comprehensive support and maintenance package to ensure ongoing reliability and peace of mind.

✔️ Telephones: We deployed our advanced cloud-based Voice Over IP (VOIP) telephone system called "InSync Voice," providing an extensive range of features to enhance the day-to-day operations of the business. This system was accessible through desk phones both in the office and at home, allowing efficient customer management both during and outside regular business hours with flexibility for home working.
✔️ Data Cabling & Wireless: With limited office space, we installed a vertical wall-mount data cabinet housing a managed PoE gigabit switch to power VOIP phones and provide central management. A new gigabit fibre internet connection was set up with a firewall router and wireless system. Category 6 cabling was neatly trunked, routed to new data points around the building, terminated into a patch panel, and fully tested. Once complete, all devices were patched in and ready for use.

ℹ️ Here’s a recently completed project we carried out for the Ministry of Defence. The military base required a new IT training centre to replace their outdated setup, creating a modern facility for army personnel and cadets.

We are proud to have been entrusted to deliver this project. We secured the contract against strong competition, thanks to our solid reputation, attention to detail, clear communication, rigorous budget management, and meeting stringent security and clearance protocol requirements.
✔️ We designed, built, and configured the new IT system to meet the diverse operational needs of the base and training centre, tailoring it specifically to the Army’s requirements. Following a thorough needs assessment, we developed a robust and flexible infrastructure to support both administrative functions and training exercises while ensuring compliance with military standards. The result is a reliable, secure, and efficient environment optimised for all activities.
✔️ A server was introduced for the new IT suite, as the previous setup consisted of standalone computers that had become a burden for officers to use, maintain, and manage effectively. The computers were customised with personalised regimental backgrounds and lock screens featuring the royal crest, giving a professional and standardised appearance.
✔️ The data from the old computers was migrated to the new server using a strategically designed folder structure, incorporating tiered access levels for different army companies and military personnel accounts. All computers were secured and locked-down to prevent unauthorised access and changes, ensuring robust device and data protection. After rigorous testing and commissioning, the system was formally handed over to the Major and Officer in charge following a comprehensive training session on the new system.

ℹ️ A customer had a requirement to extend internet access to their large detached garage, which was being converted into a pool and games room. The property was a listed building with certain constraints, and there was no existing ducting available for cabling. To overcome these challenges, we implemented a wireless point-to-point bridge. This solution extended their internet access to the games room, providing both wired and wireless connectivity for consoles, TVs, and other devices, all while maintaining high-speed network bandwidth.
✔️ We had previously installed a managed wireless system in this stunning 1600s rural property some years ago. Leveraging an existing wired connection within the main house, we added a remotely powered PoE switch to supply power to both the existing wireless access point and the new external wireless bridge. Adjustable brackets were used to align the bridge device accurately, ensuring optimal signal strength and performance.
✔️ In the new garage games room, another bridge device was mounted externally on the soffit, aimed back at the house to complete the link. The same style bracket and external-grade cable were used. Inside the garage, both wired and wireless connectivity were required. A Category 6 data point was installed near the TV, connected via a multi-port Wi-Fi 6 high-bandwidth access point mounted on the ceiling.
✔️ Although this link was relatively short, these devices can connect two or more locations with a clear line of sight over distances of up to 25 km with the connection being secure and encrypted. The wireless network was configured to match the house, ensuring seamless transitions between buildings. A speed test after installation showed speeds nearing 500 Mbps from the house's internet. The customer can now browse the internet, stream movies and play online gaming while enjoying a game of pool.
