Reporting to the Accounts Manager you will be part of the team that is responsible for managing berry’s accounts. This entails processing and ensuring financial controls are in place.
You will be responsible for ensuring that deadlines are met in an accurate and timely manner.
This role is a fixed term position for the duration of 12 months.
Key Responsibilities:
• Raising sales invoices.
• Credit Control to ensure Debtor payments are received in a timely
manner.
• Bad Debt reporting.
• Set up the Direct Debit collection file for customer invoices.
• Direct Debit payment allocation to customer invoices.
• Keeping customer database up to date and accurate.
• Daily bank reconciliation.
• Answering accounts queries.
• Company payroll for 60 employees.
• Month End journals.
• Month End Reconciliations.
• Month End Reporting & Analysis.
• Support the wider accounts department when needed.
Person Specification:
• A strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated, a team player.
• Previous experience of working in a Finance role essential.
(Preferred AAT or QBE).
• Organised with excellent attention to detail.
• Intermediate Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
