Hello again.

It’s been a little quiet around here.

KAT Design Studio hasn’t disappeared. I’ve just been doing a terrible job of actually telling anyone I’m still here. 😂

So, consider this my reintroduction.

I’m Katy, the designer behind KAT Design Studio. I have a love for branding, editorial design and business stationery. Which means taking an idea, giving it an identity and then bringing that identity to life beyond ‘just a logo’.

I’m a big believer that good design isn’t just about making something look pretty. I can make you a pretty poster but your brand needs to work too. Whether that’s understanding how something will translate into print, creating consistency across your brand, or making sure the final design actually does the job it was created for.

I’ve got lots of work, design thoughts and behind-the-scenes bits I want to start sharing again.

So… hi. I’m back. 🙃

Stay amazing ✌🏻🖤

I had the pleasure of making some vinyl-printed tees for a young entrepreneur heading to her first craft fayre.

She wanted to look the part — and of course we made that happen! 💪

We worked together to pick the perfect colours for her logo to pop on the pink tops she provided. After looking through a few options, she chose her favourite… and honestly, they turned out so good!

Nothing better than helping someone show up feeling confident and professional for their big day. I’m so glad she loved them! 💗✨
