We’re delighted to welcome Aberdeen Football Club as the latest organisation to choose People First as part of their digital transformation journey.
Following investment in a new finance system, the Club is taking a significant step forward in modernising its HR and people processes by bringing payroll in-house and implementing a single platform covering recruitment, onboarding, core HR, performance management, and reporting & analytics. People First will bring these functions together, enabling greater control, efficiency, and insight across the organisation.
Their decision was also influenced by positive experiences elsewhere in the sector, including at Hibernian Football Club, where People First is already supporting HR transformation.
Project Manager, Annie Philip, said: “We’re excited to be working with MHR to modernise our HR and payroll processes. Moving away from manual, paper-based systems will make a real difference to how we operate day to day. Having greater visibility across the employee lifecycle will help us improve efficiency, strengthen compliance, and ultimately support our people more effectively.”
Nick Felton, Chief Sales Officer at MHR, added: “We’re pleased to support Aberdeen FC as they continue to invest in their digital transformation journey. Professional sports organisations operate in high-performance, fast-paced environments, where access to accurate, connected workforce data is critical. People First will provide Aberdeen FC with the visibility needed to streamline administration, enhance decision-making, and enable greater focus on performance both on and off the pitch.
This partnership also reflects a broader trend, with a growing number of professional football clubs across England and Scotland selecting MHR to support their people and operational strategies. This continued adoption highlights the strength and flexibility of the People First platform in meeting the demands of complex, performance-driven organisations.”
