Is Google Maps showing your location as the middle of Germany?
There's a simple reason why! And it's easily fixed.
It's to do with a quirk of UK sovereign land, and the way Google classifies the UK area.
If you have your Service Area set to "UK" then this includes parts of Cyrpus, and therefore, the service area looks like the attached screenshot.
And it sticks the pin in the middle of this area if your address is hidden, which is Germany.
Sadly, the only real fix for this is to remove "UK" from your service area, and select it by county instead. But, rest assured this isn't due to any malicious competitor activity or anything!
