We are urging people to get in touch as enquiries continue into a robbery which happened in the early hours of Sunday (11 January) in Great Yarmouth,
The robbery happened at around 4am on Blackfriars Road and police were alerted later after the victim was taken to hospital.
The victim, in his 30s, initially appeared to have minor injuries and was taken to the James Paget University Hospital. His condition deteriorated while at hospital and he sadly died on Tuesday (13 January).
A Home Office post-mortem examination was carried out yesterday (15 January). However, cause of death was inconclusive and further tests will be carried out to establish why he has died. The man’s next of kin has been updated.
