Dedicated to helping others harness the power of Amazon as a tool for eCommerce, Utopia Ecommerce approached Farrows with the exciting task of building their brand identity. Their mission was clear: they wanted to stand out in a competitive landscape and become the go-to partner for businesses looking to succeed on the Amazon platform.

Our team embarked on a creative journey to craft a brand that not only communicated their expertise but also exuded trustworthiness and innovation. We knew the brand had to be clean, fresh, and memorable.

1️⃣ Brand Design: We designed a distinctive logo that reflects Utopia Ecommerce's uniqueness in the market. Clean lines and a distinctive colour palette were key elements, and the unique serif font added a touch of sophistication.

2️⃣ Website: Our digital team crafted a simple, yet user-friendly and visually appealing website that conveyed professionalism and proficiency. With clear messaging and engaging content, it now serves as a hub for connecting with new clients.

Heritage Campaign 🌾

Crisp Malt wanted to raise awareness and showcase their range of Heritage Malts. Fundamental to the campaign was the storytelling; how the Heritage Malt Programme has developed over the past 10 years, the people who made this possible, from agronomists and biologists to the local farmers and Crisp's malting team, why the varieties were revived and the history behind each of them, and most importantly, what customers are saying about the flavour attributes and what brewers and distillers are making with them🍺🥃!

Each of the four Heritage malts is traditionally floor malted using the original methods from the 19th century, ensuring authenticity and unique flavour notes.

To honour these exceptional malts, the Farrows Creative Team crafted a stamp to act as a unified mark for the full heritage campaign and a full ‘look and feel’ capturing the essence of the range, as well as providing flexibility to promote across the varied touch points including; Digital Brochure, Website Landing Page, Social Media, Malt Sacks and Merchandise.

AirSnax approached us with a great product, a design for their packaging, and a website they felt could be better. As a start-up brand, they were relatively new to the game, they had bags of enthusiasm for their product but needed a partner to help them focus their energy. Together we formulated a plan to turn their passion into a successful brand.

The first deliverable was the brand website. We cleaned the slate on the uninspiring one-page catalogue website that Airsnax approached us with and designed and developed an engaging Shopify-driven eCommerce store that truly represents the brand on every conversion-driving, story-telling page. Flexible promotion blocks lead to the cleanest of product pages, and customers also have the option of signing up for easy-to-manage monthly subscriptions for a discounted price. A win-win for the brand and its loyal customers.

Our creative team developed an illustration style to run across social media, exhibition and merchandise to convey a sense of energy, trendiness, and diversity. The characters added humour to the brand, infusing each snacking scenario with a dash of fun.

Illustrators like Jean Jullien provided inspiration as we wanted the style to be straightforward, witty, and comical. The aim was to fashion uncomplicated figures using Airsnax's vivid colours, facilitating seamless brand communication. Brands like Nike and Adidas, which employed contemporary illustration and typographic styles, were influential in conveying the concepts of health and nutrition.

The overarching style choice was to accentuate snack details while maintaining an engaging and simple illustrative approach. Each illustration revolved around the snacks, resulting in playful and lively compositions. These styles are anticipated to evolve through future creative iterations, consistently communicating Airsnax's identity as a diverse and nonconformist brand, adept at staying attuned to emerging trends.

For snack brands like Airsnax, having a versatile bank of photography to draw from is crucial. We created a range of shots that covered the vast range of snacking occasions suited to Airsnax. This photography can be seen across the brand's website, socials and email marketing.

The collaboration between our team and Airsnax's Founder and Managing Director, Nati Azar, has been a prime example of exceptional teamwork, as evidenced by his testimonial:

At Farrows, we have many years of invaluable experience in taking a design and applying all of our print know-how and preparing it to achieve the best possible printed results. We want all the packaging we work on to be worthy of winning awards.

KETTLE Chips UK approached us to ensure the three varieties of their new Kettle Breads range were printed with the same love and premium finish as the rest of their existing packs. The design had to be carefully set up for artwork as it was going to be printed with flexography, a print method which has complex rules and requirements about elements such as font sizes, line thicknesses and Pantone colours. The project was a prime example of how well we work closely in partnership with the client and the print company. Through various meetings and a friendly, efficient communication process, we guided the project to the finish line, ensuring a range of products were delivered which looked dynamic and most importantly, immensely tasty!

It might look easy to set up a design file and supply it to the chosen print company, but the hidden work and careful consideration of each print process is highly complex and needs our team’s collective talent and experience to achieve consistently impressive results. Each brief comes with its own challenges but we love to be tested and as we have worked with so many amazing clients and on even more packaging briefs, we can problem-solve where necessary and work with the required fine detail.

Another fantastic day at the show yesterday, we are always very proud to see our Royal Norfolk Show branding appearing all over the county to promote such a memorable and fun event. The logo itself was crafted by the Farrows creative team, from strategy through to final artwork, working closely with the super team at RNAA.

As part of our branding process, we produce a set of guidelines to explain the logo and campaign creative fine details and how to use the suite of assets such as the illustrations our creative team have conjured up. These prove invaluable to the client so future marketing materials can be produced whilst maintaining the creative direction.

Over the years we have been fortunate enough to present to and photograph our King at many prestigious events. Here at Farrows, we will be joining the rest of the nation in raising a glass (or a cuppa!) in celebration of The King’s Coronation.

Our relationship with The Royal Household has been instrumental in gaining a , and our Chairman Nick Farrow has even had the privilege of chairing charities for the . Through these roles, he's met our Monarch many times as both The Prince of Wales and His Majesty The King and can attest to his acute concern for the world, charming personality, and great sense of humour.

In one of our many memorable moments, we had the pleasure of photographing King Charles (when he was HRH The Prince of Wales) during his visit to the factory in Northampton. Our very own Will Farrow captured the various stages of the visit showcasing our passion for photography and attention to detail.
