Since graduating NUCA myself I am working as a graphic designer. I get some great projects to work on that often call for illustrated elements. I have already worked with and successfully commissioned work for friends from
NUCA. I have found it utterly frustrating that there is no group or network out there already. How does anyone find you wonderfully talented people? With this in mind and the desire to support local talent i'm creating this network, "The Illustrated Afterlife" to boost the awareness, contactability and productivity of NUCA illustration graduates after university life. I would like to see this network grow and become a valuable outlet for illustrators from NUCA, and an essential contact portal for the design community looking for illustrators to work with and commission.
