Working on the Support Desk you will be providing first line support by telephone and remote internet access to our customers in the retail industry who are using our Point of Sale and Stock Control software.
We have a very close relationship with our Customers so over time you will build a good working connection with individuals within the Customers senior management and staff members. Our support team becomes a very important element of our Customers business as we do not operate as a “call centre”, we are very much an extension of the Customers business.
Typically when a Customer needs our assistance it is at a very stressful moment in their day and so you will need to be able to understand their problem and if you are not able to resolve the matter within your own experience, seek the assistance from one of your team members.
Full training will be provided on both our software and any other standard packages that you will be using, to ensure you have an in depth understanding of the company and its core functions there will opportunities to go off site and assist in various projects.
Any EPOS and/or stock control, shop experience, along with a basic understanding of the Windows Operating System will be an advantage.
This position will be based in Rackheath, with the possibility of working some days from home subject to your line managers discretion.
Job Type: Full-time
Holidays: 20 days plus bank holidays and birthday, raising after 3 years’ service.
Salary: £11,939.00-£16,216.00 per year
