If Wi‑Fi issues only get noticed when someone complains, you’re always reacting — not improving.

Many problems build up quietly over time, gradually affecting performance and productivity before anyone raises it.

Paying attention to recurring feedback is a good start, but real improvement comes from visibility into how the network is actually performing day to day.

Better visibility means fewer surprises, faster resolution, and more efficient use of time — all of which helps control costs and keeps teams focused on their work.

Using modern cloud‑managed networking, we help organisations stay ahead of issues so they remain connected, protected and productive.

Guest Wi‑Fi is one of those things that’s easy to overlook — but important to get right.

Visitors, contractors, and clients shouldn’t need access to internal systems, and keeping networks separate reduces risk without adding complexity.

Setting up a dedicated guest network is a simple step that improves security and protects your business data.

Done properly, this keeps your organisation protected, reduces the chance of incidents, and avoids the time and cost involved in dealing with preventable security issues.

We help organisations design guest access that’s simple for users, but properly separated and managed behind the scenes.

Wi‑Fi that works perfectly one minute and struggles the next is often suffering from interference.

Building materials, nearby networks, and even everyday equipment can affect signal quality — especially in busy or built‑up environments.

You can sometimes improve things by moving closer to access points or adjusting where equipment is placed, but persistent issues usually need a more structured approach.

Reducing interference leads to more stable connections, fewer interruptions, and less time spent reacting to “random” problems — which quickly adds up financially.

Cloud‑managed networks allow interference to be identified and corrected proactively, helping businesses stay productive without constant firefighting.

If calls freeze or connections drop when people move around the building, the issue often isn’t speed — it’s roaming.

Devices should move seamlessly between access points, but poor handover leads to dropped calls, lost connections, and repeated reconnecting.

Basic steps like reconnecting Wi‑Fi can help in the short term, but a properly designed wireless network removes the problem altogether.

Fixing roaming issues keeps staff connected as they move, saves time lost restarting calls or applications, and creates a smoother working day.

With the right cloud‑managed setup, roaming behaviour can be monitored and optimised so users don’t even notice it happening.

If your Wi‑Fi feels fine early in the day but struggles once everyone logs on, congestion is often the reason.

Too many devices competing for the same airtime leads to slow systems, choppy calls, and frustrated users — even when broadband speeds are good.

Simple steps like spreading users out or using wired connections where possible can help, but long‑term fixes come from proper capacity planning.

When congestion is resolved, teams work more efficiently, meetings run smoothly, and time isn’t lost waiting for systems to respond — all of which has a direct impact on productivity and costs.

Using cloud‑managed networking, we help organisations balance demand intelligently so performance stays consistent, even at peak times.

⚠️ Security Alert – Phishing emails using Auvik platform

We’ve been made aware of a current phishing campaign affecting businesses, where emails appear to come from “Auvik System” ([email protected]) with the subject:

“You’re invited to join Auvik”

These emails are particularly convincing because:
🔴 They are sent from a legitimate Auvik email address
🔴 SPF, DKIM and DMARC all pass
🔴 There are no obvious attachments or traditional red flags

However, these messages are not genuine invitations. They are part of a wider campaign where attackers have abused a legitimate sign-up process to send phishing content through a trusted platform.

🔍 What to look out for:
⚠️ You receive an Auvik invite unexpectedly
⚠️ You don’t use Auvik or weren’t expecting access
⚠️ Any message prompting you to click a link or take urgent action

✅ What to do:
Do not click any links or accept the invite
Report the email to your IT provider or security team
Delete the message once confirmed as malicious

🛡️ Important reminder:
Just because an email passes security checks doesn’t mean it’s safe. We’re seeing more attacks using legitimate platforms to get past traditional filtering.

Where is the problem?
Wi‑Fi problems rarely affect an entire building equally.

More often, they show up in the same rooms, desks, or corners again and again.

Before changing settings or replacing equipment, it’s worth stepping back and spotting where issues actually happen. Once you see a pattern, the root cause is usually much easier to identify — and often simpler to fix.

Resolving coverage and layout issues helps teams stay connected, reduces wasted time troubleshooting, and avoids unnecessary spend on the wrong upgrades.
If problems keep appearing in the same places, we can help by designing and tuning your network using cloud‑managed tools that give real visibility into coverage and performance — so your Wi‑Fi supports the business, not distracts from it.

Waiting months for fibre broadband? You’re not alone.

🚀 5G Fixed Wireless Broadband in Action | Real‑World Business Connectivity Solution

In this video, we demonstrate a Zyxel FWA510 5G Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) solution installed for a business that had been waiting over four months for an Openreach broadband installation — with no confirmed go‑live date.

To keep the business operational, we deployed a 5G mobile broadband solution as a fast, reliable alternative.

📍 What you’re seeing in this video:
- The Zyxel FWA510 positioned on a windowsill.
- A live speed test running on a laptop next to the unit.
- Real‑world speeds achieved:
✅ 280–300+ Mbps download
✅ 70+ Mbps upload

These are genuine results from a temporary deployment — proving that 5G Fixed Wireless Access can deliver business‑grade performance in days, not months.

💼 How Acmatic Networks Helps Businesses Stay Connected

At Acmatic Networks, we specialise in keeping businesses online when traditional connectivity falls short. Whether you’re facing:
- Long delays with fibre or leased line installs
- Site moves or temporary offices
- Backup or failover connectivity requirements
- Rural or hard‑to‑serve locations

We design and deploy practical, resilient connectivity solutions that work.
✅ Rapid deployment
✅ Fully managed hardware
✅ Business‑grade security
✅ Scalable for growth
✅ Ideal as primary or backup internet

5G Fixed Wireless Access isn’t just a stop‑gap — for many businesses, it’s a viable long‑term solution.

When Vala Evolution moved into their new office, they had a bit of a headache — there was no network infrastructure in place at all. With remote services being a big part of how they support their clients, getting reliable connectivity back up and running was urgent.

Their existing kit from the old office was also showing its age and simply couldn’t keep up anymore. It was holding them back from using newer Wi‑Fi standards, higher speeds and better security.

We worked with Vala to put in a clean, modern network install from scratch. That started with a new wall‑mounted data cabinet, a Zyxel USG Flex firewall, a cloud‑managed switch, and the latest tri‑band Wi‑Fi 7 access point — with structured cabling to follow.

The whole setup is being paired with 1Gbps full‑fibre broadband, giving them the speed and reliability they need to deliver remote services properly and scale as the business grows.

It’s a solid foundation that removes the tech limitations and lets Vala Evolution focus on their clients, not their connectivity.

Great to be involved in getting them set up properly for the next stage.

Our engineers have been out and about recently, rolling out Zyxel FWA 5G Mobile Broadband Backup solutions to support schools’ leased-line connections.

Why? Because when connectivity is critical, downtime simply isn’t an option.
By adding a resilient 5G backup, schools and businesses get:
✔️ Continuous internet access during broadband outages
✔️ Uninterrupted access to cloud platforms and safeguarding systems
✔️ Reliable connectivity for teaching, learning, and administration
✔️ Peace of mind, knowing operations can carry on without disruption

As more organisations rely on cloud-based services and real-time communication, having a solid failover connection is no longer a luxury — it’s essential.

Proud of the team for delivering robust, future-ready solutions that keep our customers connected when it matters most.

If you'd like to strengthen your organisation’s connectivity resilience, we’re here to help.
