Step 1: The Creative Consultation We start with your vision! Whether you are dreaming of a cosy autumn wedding with burnt orange accents or a grand manor house celebration, we discuss your venue, floral palette, and those “little extras” that make your story unique.

Step 2: Hand-Painted Illustrations This is where the art begins. I hand-paint every element using professional watercolours, from delicate botanical wreaths and floral sprays to custom venue illustrations of stately homes, tipis, or even a whimsical narrowboat.

Step 3: Digital Design & Layout Your hand-painted artwork is scanned and carefully paired with elegant typography. We create a cohesive look across your entire suite, ensuring the forest green or burgundy tones perfectly complement the illustrations.

Step 4: The Finishing Touches Texture is everything! I assemble your suite with tactile details like hand-poured wax seals and soft silk ribbons to ensure your invitations feel like a gift when they arrive on your guests’ doorsteps.

Step 5: On-the-Day Details The journey doesn’t end with the invite. We carry your bespoke theme through to the wedding day with coordinated menus, place cards, and signage that tie your tablescape together beautifully.

Meet the Artist Behind Your Love Story 🎨✨

Hi, I’m Katie Brewin, the artist behind the brushes here at Something’s Brewin Stationery. There is nothing I love more than a fresh sheet of watercolour paper and a couple with a beautiful story to tell!

My mission is to take the “big picture” of your wedding day and distill it into tiny, hand-painted details that your guests will want to keep forever. Whether it’s the exact shade of a rose in your bouquet or the unique architecture of your venue, I believe the magic is in the making.

What It’s Like Working With Me:
The Inspiration Phase: We start with your vision—seasonal palettes like rich oranges or deep burgundies, and the special elements that make your venue unique.

The Creative Process: I head to the studio to hand-paint every detail, from delicate botanical wreaths to custom illustrations of manor houses or even garden tipis.

The Final Flourish: We bring it all together with tactile finishes, like elegant wax seals and silk ribbons, to create a suite that feels like a gift to every guest.

There is something truly magical about a wedding that leans into the rich, warm tones of the season. For this bespoke suite, we paired delicate watercolour illustrations of blackberries and autumn leaves with a deep burgundy and burnt orange palette to create a look that is both rustic and refined.

The Stationery Suite
From the first glimpse to the final seat at the table, every piece was designed to tell a story:

The Invitation: Featuring hand-painted botanical accents and modern, forest-green typography.

The RSVP: A whimsical nod to the venue with a custom narrowboat illustration.
