We are excited to share that our founder, Ben Keeble, has received a Young Innovators Award from Innovate UK.

This award will help us finalise products and ensure they are successfully brought to market at the earliest opportunity. The boost from receiving the award is already helping to accelerate progress and bring launch dates closer.

Mobiliaid’s journey has been assisted at various stages by wonderful support from the University of Nottingham, University of Lancaster and Sci-Tech Daresbury. Thanks are also due to UKRI / Innovate UK, Engineers in Business, Ingenuity Impact, Nuffield Health and the Witty Scholarship.

3 years ago, I first entered the Ingenuity competition with the aim of developing something to help my grandfather with his mobility problems.

Today I can finally say that I have been successful after winning the Shakespeare Martineau Legal Prize 2022, the Engineers in Business Fellowship 2022 and the East Midlands Ingenuity Winner 2022.

This was part of the Power of Partnerships conference at the University of Nottingham. It was a great opportunity to network with businesses and academics, including several local MP's. I look forward to working with them all soon!

Meet the Mobiliaid team: Ben Keeble – Founder and CEO
I am currently in the final year of an integrated master’s degree in physics at the University of Nottingham.
The Witty Entrepreneurial Scholarship has allowed me to develop both product ideas and hone my business skills. I have won several business prizes.
I have now partnered with Andrew Longden, to set up Mobiliaid Ltd in order to bring a range of products to market.

Mobiliaid Ltd. A new startup aimed at improving the life of the older generations in this country.

Our journey started in 2018 at a business competition aimed at the UN sustainable development goals. Goal 3 is to promote good health and wellbeing for the community, with the specific aim of reducing the negative impacts of ageing.

After being successful at gaining development funding, the two founders have come together to ensure the products are successfully brought to market.

Please watch this space as we start manufacturing and marketing next year.
