Just had an automated call from "HMRC" claiming that a criminal investigation has been raised against me for not paying my taxes! BEWARE these scam calls. They give you the all the rubbish and then will ask for bank details/payment. The number that rang me was 07548 214 221

Another Scam Alert! You may have heard or seen this one already but I've just had a customer who nearly got caught out so here it is. You may receive an automated call claiming to be Amazon and asking if you wish to cancel your Prime subscription. The call directs you to press 1 and then tells you you're being connected to an "amazon advisor". The "advisor" then asks you to download some software to connect to computer in order to cancel your subscription. This is total rubbish as once they are connected they will attempt to access financial information or online banking. Be alert, and just take a minute to think to yourself - does this sound right?

Happy New Year everyone. . .or as good as can be expected. I just wanted to reassure you all that my services are still available for your needs. Wherever possible I offer remote support if you are isolating or just wish to be extra careful. Hi all had to share this as it really winds me up. I was out at a customer's house recently and they were having problems with their email. Long story short, the problem was with their BT router and I noticed that it was quite old so I asked the customer what deal they were on. It turns out that this poor women had been sold fibre broadband a year ago but had not been switched over, had not received their new router and was being charged the new rate. Anyway her "son 😁 " rang them up to complain and managed to get things sorted and some money refunded. Have you or other family members not renewed or changed your contract for your broadband in a long time? Chances are you could be paying way over the odds or not getting the best value so I'd urge you to check out your current deal and have a look on the comparison sites. Remember you don't ask you don't get! End of speech.
