More or less normal service has been resumed, although there's now a big backlog of work to clear.

Thanks to all who have commented or messaged.

I'm still not very well, so the office will only be open for a few hours per day for the rest of this week.

Please don't call in unless you've spoken to me first. The phone will be off when I'm not here.

05/10/2026

The office will be closed today (Monday 5/10/2026) as I'm not well.

Back tomorrow, but ring before you call in.

That'll soon be it for another busy week.

One minor miracle performed, one (so far) defeat but with an acceptable work around, and all the other bits in between.

Have a good weekend, whatever you're up to.

11/09/2026

That's it for another busy week, I'm going to knock off an hour early :)

Next week has plenty on too, so as ever please get in touch before you call in.

07/09/2026

A reminder that the office will be closed all day today (Monday 7/9/26).

Please don't call expecting to get in.

We won't be available on the phone and emails and messages will be answered either tonight or tomorrow.

That was quite the week, even with Monday off - thanks again to everyone who called in, phoned or messaged.

Remember - advice and repair estimates are always free at PECS, and if we need to come to you there's no call out charge.

Next week is very, very busy. The office will be closed on Monday as we've six jobs to go to and the rest of the week has plenty to keep us occupied. Please don't call in unless you've been in touch first to avoid a wasted journey.

If you need computer help or advice please get in touch - if you ring and there's no answer we will ring you back when we get a chance, the same goes for emails or messages :).

** Free laptop - now off to a new home **

We've another Linux based laptop to give away - see the photos for details :)

It has internet access, and a full office package, the battery isn't too bad and it will never get a virus because its running Q4OS Linux.

If you want it, come in and ask for it. No strings, no subscriptions to software, and no cost.

28/08/2026

That's another week almost done.

The office will be closed on Monday for the bank holiday.
