That was a big week - we've not had to do late nights for a while.

Thanks to everyone who has been in, especially to Andrea for the scones 😍.

** NOW TAKEN **

Free to a good home - Sony Vaio VGN-NS20J laptop - please read carefully.

This is a Sony Vaio laptop in lovely condition, apart from the battery which is completly dead.

It was originally meant to run the (not at all missed) Windows Vista and doesn't have enough oomph to run Windows 11.

It's too nice to scrap, so instead has been fitted with Linux Mint which is a modern, virus free, internet ready operating system with a built in office package. There are no subscriptions to pay and it keeps itself up to date.

It isn't rocket fast but is steady and reliable and will work well for internet browsing, email, letter writing and general use.

If you'd like it, just ask - we don't want anything for it :)

We have for sale a refurbished HP Envy 13-aq0500sa, specification per the attached picture, running Windows 11. This laptop has a 13.3" screen, the original charger and the battery holds a fair charge.

The touchscreen digitiser is cracked (just about visible in the photo) and as a result the touchscreen does not work. This does not affect the operation of the laptop in any way, but as a result we're selling it for £50.00.
