Here are some battery saving tips to improve the health of your device battery ๐
1. Adjust screen brightness: Dimming the screen brightness can significantly reduce battery usage on smartphones. Turning on dark mode can help reduce battery consumption on devices using an oled screen due to the individual pixels displaying black actually being turned off e.g on an apple boot up screen only the illuminated apple logo would be consuming power, the rest of the screen would remain off. An lcd screen however would always be powering on the entire display even with dark mode on which is why we always recommend repairing with premium oled screen or original genuine if it applies to your device.
2. Enable power saving mode: Power saving mode is a feature available on most smartphones that limits background app activity and reduces power consumption.
3. Close unused apps: Apps running in the background can drain your phone's battery life. Always make sure to close all unused apps.
4.Use Wi-Fi instead of cellular data: Wi-Fi is less power-intensive than cellular data, so it's always a good idea to use Wi-Fi when it's available.
5. Turn off location services: Location services use a lot of battery power. If you're not actively using location-based apps, turn off location services to save battery life so its not continuously scanning and feeding back your location to the app.
6. Reduce notifications: Unnecessary notifications can drain your battery life. Adjust your notification settings to minimize the number of notifications you receive.
7. Avoid extreme temperatures: Extreme temperatures, both hot and cold, can affect your phone's battery life. Keep your phone in a moderate temperature range as batteries are a sensitive part on your device and will prolong the health of your battery.
8. Replace your battery: If your phone's battery is no longer holding a charge as well as it used to, you may need to replace it. This is especially true for phones with non-removable batteries. Book it in today โ
