Yesterday our primary internet connection, supplied through our serviced office, unexpectedly went down.
No warning. No gradual slowdown. Just down.
Fortunately, this wasn’t a crisis. Why? Because we had 4G failover in place.
Within moments, we were back online. It gave us breathing space to properly assess the issue, speak with the provider, and calmly plan next steps, all while the team continued working with minimal disruption.
We also had the flexibility for staff to switch to remote working instantly if needed.
This wasn’t luck. It was business continuity planning.
Too many organisations rely on a single connection, a single location, or a single way of working — and only realise the risk when something fails.
Internet outages. Power cuts. Hardware failures. Cyber incidents. They don’t send calendar invites.
The real question is:
👉 If your internet went down right now, how long before your business felt it?
👉 How long before your clients felt it?
👉 And do you have a plan — or just hope?
Business continuity doesn’t have to be complicated or expensive. But it does have to be intentional.
If you’re not sure how resilient your setup is, we can help you review it and make sure you’re prepared before you need to be.
Because when disruption happens, the worst time to plan is during it.
