Remote Highland residential care facility.
We recently delivered a transformative connectivity solution for a client operating in an environment with exceptionally heavy data demands and extremely low speeds due to the location. By deploying a combination of low Earth orbit satellite and 5G we increased their speeds from less than 3 Mbps to over 250 Mbps enabling seamless operations and improved productivity. As part of our managed service we also installed a fully managed WiFi solution to ensure robust coverage and security throughout the premises.

Offshore wind – North Sea.
At the other extreme, engineers working on offshore wind turbines needed
secure, high-speed connectivity in a demanding maritime environment. We
consulted closely with the client to establish exact requirements and designed
a bespoke proof of concept to validate the proposed solution.
Using ruggedised wireless and satellite solutions built to operate in the harshest environments, we enabled real-time data transmission back to shore to support monitoring, diagnostics and operational efficiency.

From 2Mbps to 116Mbps: A Connectivity Makeover.

This might not be the flashiest post-installation photo you'll see today but the results behind it are the real story.

Our client was stuck with 2Mbps ADSL speeds and barely able to operate. A 5G router in the comms cabinet nudged that to 3Mbps, but still couldn’t support EPOS or voice traffic across the corporate WAN.



Using the same 5G SIM card which was previously delivering 3mbps we deployed a fully managed 5G solution increasing the download speed to 116Mbps;

· High-gain, directional 5G antenna mounted externally to escape indoor signal loss and lock onto the strongest cell.

· Enterprise 5G router with dual-SIM, carrier aggregation and QoS to prioritise EPOS/voice, enabling seamless voice routing across the WAN

· Managed service: 24/7 monitoring, proactive alerts, configuration management, and SLA-backed support.

Feedback so-far has been one of amazement with delighted staff and operations running smoothly.

This week, our engineers were spotted in two very different settings.

High above the ground installing fibre at a major manufacturing site in the North East and expanding the Cat6 network at a Grade I listed luxury hotel dating back to 1150 in the Midlands .
