Tribute to Hannu Aronsson

Hannu was a passionate advocate of the power of TETRA and, in particular, its data applications. He was a familiar presence at conferences where he would promote the potential of TETRA, always in a considered manner. In our Critical Communications Broadband Group, he brought his expertise from TETRA implementations and was instrumental in promoting the importance of broadband data applications in field operations and the benefits to end users, critical network operators and society itself. He was always a positive force, always smiling, and a true gentleman – we are privileged to have benefited from his influence on the development of critical communications, and we will miss him. Our condolences to his family, friends and colleagues.

Hello Canada! Come and join "Mission Critical Networks: PSBN and more" session at Police Tech Conference + Expo 4th March 2025 at Mississauga Convention Center, Ontario, Canada.

The session provides an update on Canada's Public Safety Broadband Network (PSBN) status and shifting law enforcement communication to a 5G telecommunication system for cellular networks.

Celebrating 30 years of advancing critical communications - TCCA-Critical Communications enters its fourth decade as the authoritative voice of the sector.
For 30 years, TCCA has been at the forefront of promoting the use of standardised technologies to deliver mission-critical communication systems that are secure, available, resilient, interoperable and, ultimately, trusted.
In the five years since we marked our 25th anniversary, much has been achieved despite the global pandemic.
