September Round-Up 🏢🔧

40 sites surveyed in Belgravia, backup connectivity for a London building with 20+ tenants and office upgrades ahead of the PSTN switch-off… September certainly kept us moving!

We also squeezed in partner events, caught up with familiar faces and met Basil Brush. Plenty of connections made and only one “boom boom!” 🦊😂

Team Fuse Telecom had a brilliant time at 's Imagine Nation event in London on Thursday!

It was great to catch up with familiar faces, make new connections and have one of our clients join us for the event too.

After a busy couple of days filled with meetings, site visits, meeting the one and only Basil Brush and even a bit of raving to Judge Jules, we're now back up North at our Newcastle HQ.

Your connectivity is only as strong as the infrastructure supporting it.

A building may have 3 x separate 1Gbps connections coming in - something we see surprisingly often - but if its switches are limited to 100Mbps, users will never receive the speeds they expect.

FYI: With leased-line capacity now available at 10Gbps and beyond, most buildings only need one primary connection. An additional line should typically be used where genuine failover and resilience are required.

That’s why we look beyond the connection. We assess your building’s layout, existing infrastructure and future requirements before providing clear, practical recommendations.

Demand for high-quality, fully managed workspace in London continues to grow - but is the digital infrastructure behind it keeping pace?

A fully managed service should make connectivity simpler, faster and better value for tenants. It shouldn’t mean charging leased line prices that no longer reflect the market.

If an occupier can bring their own dedicated leased line into the building for less than the managed connection they’re being offered, there’s a problem.

Meet Tilly, our newest Head of Digital Paw-frastructure 🐾⚡️

Some of our clients and suppliers may have spotted her making a guest appearance on Teams calls yesterday, keeping a close eye on our connectivity projects and an even closer eye on the office treats.

As a reward for all her hard work, she was even treated to a Starbucks Puppuccino.

Safe to say, the employee benefits have already gone to her head! 😂

Our noisiest site visit to date! 🦜

At the weekend, we provided managed Wi-Fi for The Tropical Bird Show, keeping card terminals and staff connected throughout the venue.
