Another fire alarm job done for an existing customer.

Extension built on a truck showroom and garage which needed detectors, sounders and call points.

Another contractor was going to simply "Spur off the existing Zone" to make life easier...for themselves.

Instead we chose the option that made life easier for the customer. There was a spare Zone on the panel so why not have that Zone as the extension, keeping it totally separate and making it easier to identify the location of a fire.

6 detectors. 2 call points. 2 sounders and 150m of FP200 cable installed, tested and commissioned. During the testing phase it was noted that an existing sounder had failed in another area of the building. So we replaced that as well to ensure total coverage.

Zone charts provided and a chart with all devices on as well.

The end of our biggest project yet.

We were asked to undertake a full CCTV upgrade for a business based local to us.

In the words of Paw Patrol "No job is too big. No pup is too small" 🤣 we were only too happy to assist.

We had to liaise with multiple different trades and with the customers own staff, clients and customers as it was still a live environment.

55 x Hikvision IP cameras. A mixture of internal and external. Turrets and bullets.

Screens installed throughout the building to view the cameras.

Roughly 3050m of Cat6 cable pulled.

Network switches, NVRs and Decoders installed.

ToA IP megaphones cabled.

Many many hours spent on a scissor lift, but, we have achieved completion.

Happy customer also achieved...so happy in fact we are already in talks for the next one.

Hikvision 4 x Smart Hybrid Light and DVR upgrade.

Customer called to say they had a Sannce system which they were having issues with.

Popped out to take a look and see if it was something worthwhile repairing or if an upgrade was required.

1 camera had failed and the DVR itself was failing. Showing HDD errors and not booting any cameras in.

Advised the customer of a couple of options. They went with a full overhaul of the system.

Managed to keep costs down by using existing cabling. Removed all the existing Sannce equipment. Ran a Cat6 cable from the DVR to the router so the customer could view cameras and playback on phones and tablets. Something they couldn't achieve with the Sannce DVR.

The wonky cable on the second photo is from their Virgin installation and not something we installed today.

Left a happy customer knowing that their property is secure once more but this time with 24/7 colour on motion. Audio and a 3 year warranty for piece of mind.

Another one bites the dust.

This time we installed:
5 x Hikvision IP cameras
1 x Hikvision NVR
A load of Cat6 duct grade cabling to run from the NVR underground, up the lampposts and into the camera bases. No joints on any runs.

As well as that we installed:
Starlink
A 4G router as a backup
A wired Texecom alarm
A TOA Horn Speaker and Amplifier
A UPS to keep the site running in the event of a power outage.
Plus the cabinet and trunking.

This was a nice install. All the ducts were actually accessible which makes a change from some installs I've been tasked with. Nice bare site for us to crack on and get things done and in less time than we budgeted for.

Site is linked to an ARC which monitors 24/7.
