Pre-Sales Technical Consultant
Salary: Competitive
Location: Christchurch, Dorset
Outsource International is an innovative and growing Global IT Service provider. We are a preferred partner for a number of industry leading IT companies and are looking to expand our Sales Team with a Pre-Sales Technical Consultant.

Skills & Experience
This role would suit a highly technical person with good communication skills both written and verbal. Must be flexible and open to changing deadlines and be able to manage multiple customer queries and quotes within a timely manner. Good listening skills and ability to explain and present technical solutions. Good commercial acumen with affinity to service both sales, service and technology functions.

Customer facing with good ability to present. Must have good attention of detail for tenders and proposals.

The role will be based in Christchurch with flexibility of working with other departments on an ad hoc basis as required.

This is a new role, permanent and full-time. Salary package awarded according to experience. The role will be subject to a 3-month probationary period.

Duties & responsibilities
• Working closely with the sales team on proposals and pitches to deliver chargeable technical services
• Build technical relationships with prospects and existing customers
• Research products and support the sales team with customer facing technical pre-sales assistance
• Negotiate and liaise with partner teams for best project pricing
• Develop detailed quotes for the sales team across a variety of customers
• Attend meetings with departmental managers acting as a pre technical consultant for projects
• Working closely and collaboratively with customers to devise effective solutions
• Ensuring that the company’s services can deliver on the customer’s technical requirements
• Working closely with customers to understand and capture requirements advising the sales team of technical risk and cost control
• Liaising with customers following requests for information and producing technical plans and timelines
• Presenting proposals to customers alongside members of the sales team on technical aspects
• Liaising with the service teams for plan implementations
• Providing ongoing support and communication for customers post implementation
• Producing detailed costings for customers and ensuring the contract is profitable
• Update company systems to reflect customer and service status
• Keep up to date with current technology and emerging markets
• Liaise between sales and service project teams to ensure seamless information flow
• Ad hoc duties as required
