After completing the graduate scheme, Kaneesha’s skills and experience have seen her progress through a number of roles here at Vodafone. She is a great example of the opportunities available and how we're committed to growing talent beyond our Early Careers programmes.

We caught up with Sven van der Veen, Chair of the network to hear his thoughts on the importance of allyship and how we can lead by example.

"We have achieved a lot, but we are far from finished. The topic is important and for some in the community it is vital. We need the community and allies. We need more employers like Vodafone. We need more culture that unites and less culture that divides.”

Today is , a day to raise awareness about mental health issues and promote the support available for those struggling, as well as those caring for someone with mental health issues.

Mental health is all about realising your potential, coping with life's stresses, working productively, and contributing to your community.
Just like physical health, there are things we can all do to look after our mental health, and different techniques work for different people. From running, cycling or reading a book in the garden, we heard from some of our people on what they do to manage their mental health and why they feel it is so important.

Let's take this day to focus on our mental wellbeing and support each other! 🧠💪💚

For Mental Health Awareness Week, the Future Talent Charity Committee and the Group Youth Committee collaborated to provide the youth teams with some brilliant activities across the week. Activities were focused on mental health awareness and included talks, run clubs and fundraising activities for mental health charity MIND.

At Vodafone, we recognise the importance of supporting your wellbeing both inside and outside of work, so it’s great to see some of our youth coming together to get moving and meeting new people in the process.
