It's World Egg Day today! 🥚

And you might be thinking “Eve, why are you always banging on about Awareness Days?” or “Eve, why do I need to know when World Egg Day is?!”.

Most of us don’t need to know when World Egg Day is, however if you are an egg farmer, or you sell egg timers, or you’re a cafe who does all kinds of amazing things with eggs for breakfast, you might want to know when World Egg Day is.

Because being able to share a post or a blog with a caption like “How do you like your Eggs in the morning?” on World Egg Day will be great for SEO and mean you are more searchable for that topic by Google* 👀 Which gives you a bigger chance of being seen by more people - hurrah!

October is here and she brings with her many of my favourite things 🎃

And although the weather today is much more like early September, especially when you are walking in the sunshine, the leaves on the trees are changing and it’s definitely cooler in the evenings.

Now we’ve had the Autumn Equinox, I want to share with you why I’m excited for this next season.

🌟 New projects at work and at home - time for all those cosy hobbies to come out of hibernation! 🧵 Crafting, sewing and probably something brand new!

🎃 Pumpkins - seeing them just fills me with joy!

📓 New stationery - I fully dive into the “back to school” vibe.

🧡 Creating new habits - I really want to get back into journaling.

🍂 The changing colours around me - my branding is full of autumnal colours!

I’m very excited because today is the day!

It’s **World Dream Day** and I’m welcoming my newly hatched ​service “**Dream, Plan, Do**”​ into the world.

I’ve just sent my newsletter out about it and now it’s time to share it with my lovely Instagram community 🙌

So, let me tell you about Dream, Plan, Do!

🧡 It’s content coaching for small business owners who are BIG dreamers but struggle to channel their vision into a digestible action plan.

🧡 A month-long period of support, with three months of content prompts, tailored to you and your brand’s tone of voice.

🧡 Dream, Plan, Do takes place in Trello, via email and in my Discord community, where other clients and like minded souls are also working on their dreams.

Today is the autumn equinox which means autumn has officially arrived 🍂

We are nearing the end of Q3 and are about to head into the final 3 months of 2026! For many this can be the busiest time of the whole year for your business and the most important for your marketing.

If your marketing has been a bit lacklustre so far this year, treat autumn as a fresh start.

Get ahead on your plans for your marketing now and start Q4 more relaxed and in control. Here are a few tips to get you started:

📦 Clear the clutter - remove anything from your workspace that you don’t need to focus on for the next 3 months. 💡 Pop it all in one box, and go through it in January.

📃 Make a list of what products/services you are aiming to sell over the next quarter.

🎫 Are you doing any limited offers that you need to talk about ASAP?

💬 What social channels are you going to use? This will determine what sort of content you will need to create.

🌟 Batch create as much content as possible. You don’t have to schedule it, but having the content there ready will make the next 3 months a lot easier.

😃 Have some fun! If it’s all getting a bit too much, go out for a walk, make a brew, call a friend. Often having a break can spark off new ideas ✨

There’s now only 100 days until Christmas! 🎄

I know, I know, nobody wants to hear this truth, especially not when the kids have only just gone back!

However what you do now is going to make your December easier, and future you will be grateful.

If you’re a product business you’ll want to:

🟠 Plan your launches for Christmas

🟠 Order stock & packaging

🟠 Check posting dates & prices

🟠 Check carrier bag supplies

🟠 Apply for Christmas markets

🟠 Take photos of your Christmas products

🟠 Draft Christmas pages on your website

🟠 Plan when you’ll send your newsletters

If you’re a service business you’ll want to:

🟠 Check your clients needs over Christmas

🟠 Book networking events to attend.

🟠 Consider running offers over Christmas

🟠 Plan your holiday business hours

🟠 Schedule socials for your busiest times

There will be a lot more to think about I am sure, but these are a few things to get help you get ahead.

By making a start early, you can give yourself some time to breathe in the October/November madness.

A love letter to my new work-from-home space 💌 Agnes

Dear Agnes, I’m so excited to be moving into you today. I’ve enjoyed spending time here over the summer, writing and crafting. But it’s finally time to move in properly.

I’m looking forward to wending my way down the garden path, cup of tea in hand, to start my working day in your cosy and welcoming presence.

I’ve already noticed that you bring a sense of calm to my work, and I feel immediately at ease when I’m here.

I’m eagerly awaiting watching the garden adapt as the season changes, from the comfort of my desk. Thank you for making that possible.
