PS5 HDMI repair and service. The PS5 suffers from poor quality HDMI ports and poor thermal design, resulting in display issues and overheating warning messages.
Every HDMI repair includes a full console service, comprising of:

• Complete disassembly
• Dust removal from heatsink fins, power supply unit, fan and case
• APU and heatsink die clean/polish (to enable liquid metal to adhere to the surfaces properly)
• Liquid metal replacement/replenishment
• Outer casing clean.

Even if your HDMI port is fine, we can still service your console and get it running like new.

Adding external fans to try and "fix" overheating issues will only exasperate the problem, forcing more dust into the console over time and not dealing with the actual issue, such as dry spots on the APU. Left too long like this and your console can be permanently damaged, turning it into a very expensive paperweight!

• All consoles repaired and serviced
• All controllers repaired, serviced and upgraded (stickdrift, sticky buttons, rage quit damage or TMR stick upgrades!)
• Car keyfobs and instrument clusters repaired

Samsung S10 overheating warning ⚠️! Customer had torn the NFC ribbon which has a thermistor on it. When the cpu cant talk to the thermistor, it shuts the phone down and stops charging.
Scraped away the coating on the traces and soldered 0.01mm wire in place. Phone now charges perfectly!

Getting rid of normal everyday employees to maximise profits for shareholders.... I truly despise the way things are run these days.... money that would have promoted growth and looked after workers now gets funnelled to the people at the very top...

BT expects to cut at least another 27,500 jobs, more than a quarter of its headcount, by 2030 as it works to slash costs in the absence of sales growth.

I relate to this.... soo.....hard....

Who else has realised that they have some neurodivergent traits as they have got older?

I realised that I have ADHD when we started testing one of the boys.... it's "undiagnosed", but it answered a lot of questions (as well as creating loads of new ones.....)

Life is exhausting....

PS4 service and repair!

All PS4's yearn to be aeroplanes after a while (at least they start sounding like them!)

This PS4 came in for a no display fault, which was fixed by replacing the HDMI port and the HDMI encoder IC.

As with all of my repairs, a service is always included. All the dust, dirt and grime was cleared out, new thermal paste for the APU and new thermal pads for the RAM ICs.

The PS4 now runs as quiet as one of those new fangled electric car thingys (not sure they'll ever catch on!)

PS5 Servicing. It's really important to service PS5s regularly. Due to having to overclock their APU, and poor thermal design, Sony had to use liquid metal to assist with heat transfer to the heatsink.
As you can see in the pictures, dry spots occur over time, severely reducing efficiency and causing the APU to overheat. If this isn't dealt with, it can cause the APU to catastrophically fail, rendering the console useless. The issue occurs more frequently if you use your PS5 in an upright position.

PS5 servicing includes complete disassembly of the console, dust removal from heatsink fins and power supply, APU and heatsink clean and liquid metal re-application and outer shell cleaning.

All for £60

If you use the console daily, we recommend servicing every 12/18 months to keep it running efficiently and safely.

We also recommend positioning the console horizontally if you have space!
