In our opinion, every business should have the Cyber Essentials controls in place as a minimum. They're the foundations of good cybersecurity, not an optional extra.

That's why they're included as part of our Managed IT Support. We work with you to get everything in place, so if you decide to apply for Cyber Essentials certification, the hard work has already been done.

10 years of Jo! 🎉🥂

This month marks an amazing 10 years since Jo joined Confidence IT.

Before joining us, Jo was actually a client for several years - we liked her so much we decided to steal her! 😄

Since then, she’s become a huge part of the personality of the business. As our Office Manager, she keeps many things moving behind the scenes, but she also brings warmth, humour, kindness and a healthy dose of wonderfully whacky Jo-ness.

She’s affectionately become something of the “Office Mum”, genuinely cares about the people around her, and loves nothing more than chatting with our clients, getting to know them and building real relationships. The same goes for the team - Jo has a brilliant way of making people feel welcome, looked after and part of something.

Away from the office, give her a countryside walk and a nice glass of wine and she’s very much in her happy place. 🍷🌳

Aaran has officially stepped into a new role as Support and Project Technician.

Over the last two years, he's become a key part of the team, not just supporting our clients day to day, but getting involved in more and more project work behind the scenes.

From Microsoft 365 migrations and Intune deployments to infrastructure upgrades and customer onboarding, Aaran has shown he's more than ready for the challenge.

This title change recognises the work he's already been doing and the trust we've got in him as he continues to develop.

This week marks 22 years since Duncan joined Confidence IT.

Duncan is my younger brother, so our history obviously goes back a little further than the business. We shared a bedroom when we were younger, and years later, we found ourselves working together as Confidence IT started to grow.

He initially joined the business as an employee but, over time, has become a significant owner and an extremely important part of what Confidence IT is today.
Duncan has contributed to the growth of the business in so many ways — through his people skills, organisational ability, technical knowledge and development work.

In particular, his focus on scripting, automation, and improving how we deliver services has made a real difference to both our team and our clients.

Working with family can be interesting at times, as anyone who has done it will know, but I am truly proud of what we have built together and the role Duncan has played in that journey.

Thank you, Duncan — 22 years is a huge milestone, and your contribution to Confidence IT has been massive.
