Thanks to CEDIA EMEA and Royal Institute of British Architects for the chance to present the CPD 'Designing the Connected Home' today at the RIBA CPD Expo in Manchester. Had some great conversations with architects about the inclusion of smart home solutions into their client's projects. Great to catch up with Jenn McGuire who graciously let me join her on the CEDIA stand for the day. Interesting that the theme of Independent Living was a common thread with several of the architects that spoke with us afterwards. It was also a fantastic honour to be one of the first in the U.K. to receive our CEDIA 'Member of Excellence' designation award and pin badge.

Last week we had the pleasure to host Gary Whitechurch and Joe Sheppard from GPW Architects for the CEDIA ‘Designing Home Cinemas and Media Rooms’ RIBA accredited CPD briefing.

Visiting our show house allowed us to provide Gary and Joe with a hands on tour and demonstration of various smart home solutions and our media room as well as the CPD briefing.

Digital entertainment plays a huge part in the modern lifestyle and is something that can be truly astounding when experienced in the correct environment.
