Let’s talk about the Infinite Baffle Wall from Krix

Krix pioneered the baffle wall back in 1980 at the Capri Cinema and they’re still the benchmark for cinema sound around the world today.

An Infinite Baffle Wall is a speaker system built flush into a wall cavity. This design reduces sound leakage behind the screen, improving clarity and impact. The wall is then covered with acoustic absorbent material to eliminate reflections from the back of the screen or the room itself, creating a cleaner, more controlled soundstage.

Our newly refurbished cinema demo room features the MK‑20 MK2 Modular System - engineered specifically for dedicated cinemas and designed to sit behind an acoustically transparent screen. Ideal for rooms between four and seven metres long, the MK‑20 MK2 uses five slim, acoustically treated modules to deliver a truly immersive cinema experience at home.

Last week we welcomed dealers from across the country to experience our newly refurbished Krix cinema demo room.

Mica, representing Krix, joined us for every session and shared the history behind the brand along with insights into their product philosophy. Then Richard unleashed the full Krix system, treating everyone to a music scene from A Star Is Born and a powerful action sequence from Top Gun and Dune.

Both scenes showcased the depth, precision and vocal clarity that Krix is known for. And of course, no CAVD event is complete without great food. Our home‑cooked BBQ went down extremely well.
