Vodafone does not own a fixed line network, but instead leases from other companies. Vodafone has now signed new deals with CityFibre and BT Openreach. Eight million UK residents will now have access to Vodafone internet broadband service by Spring of 2022, therefore it claims these arrangements will make it the largest provider of ultra-fast broadband in the United Kingdom.

One passenger was hit with hefty roaming charges from his mobile provider. His telecom provider AT&T, ends up charging him almost 300 USD or £235 in roaming charges. Despite leaving his mobile phone on while in the overhead compartment. Aer Lingus has advised their guests to switch their mobile phones to aeroplane mode before any flight takes off to avoid any roaming charge, "as antennas installed on the plane normally operate outside of any unlimited international roaming plan”. Ofcom will be capping calls to directory inquiry service providers at £3.65 for every 90 seconds, as a way to curve the excess call charges starting next April. Anyone without adequate access to the internet are more likely to call a 118 number. Ofcom claims the price cap on directory inquiry calls could make the service more affordable, along with protecting consumers from unexpectedly high phone bills. Directory inquiry operators have been losing revenue from less number inquires being made in the past several years. As Britons now use the internet to look up information such as telephone numbers without the expensive 118 telephone charge.

While the main propose of this robot experiment is to deliver groceries for the Co-op, without the involvement of humans. This self-driving robot, even has the ability to travel up to two miles.

Fraudsters are spoofing (cloning) telephone numbers like 0300 200 3300, which belongs to HMRC. Cold calling and threatening their victims unsuspectingly, by claiming warrants of arrest have been issued, in their unpaid tax scam.

The number appears to be a genuine HMRC call but is actually a scam to persuade people to transfer cash.
